Marianas Apartments 5MIN SJO AIRPORT

Pros: We booked this place last minute after experiencing a flight cancellation and wanting to find somewhere to stay until we could get rebooked on a new flight. Booking and check in was extremely easy. The location is right near the airport, but it does take a little longer to get to downtown San Jose. The room was clean, the shower had hot water, and the bed was comfortable, which were all appreciated after the frustration of dealing with flight cancellations. There was no central AC, but the staff brought a standing fan into our room which helped with the temperature. I definitely recommend this place as a cheaper alternative to some of the major hotel chains that are also close to the airport.

Cons: There was construction work during our stay, but it's only during the day so the noise wasn't an issue when we were trying to sleep. Sometimes loud cars would go by on the street, but overall noise wasn't a huge issue.

Pros: Extremely helpful and nice lady at the reception. In service 24/7. Room is very specious, clean and bed very comfortable. Great value for money.

Lovely family-run hotel

Pros: Perfect for a night close to the airport. Lovely family run hotel, spacious room and bathroom. The host is very friendly, speaks good English and didnt mind making us breakfast on Christmas morning at 5.30 as we had to leave early. Good price for quality you get.

Pros: Kind staff, brought us there from the airport. Good breakfast

Cons: Rooms were basic but clean

Excellent value for the money if you need to spend a couple of nights at the airport.

Pros: Spacious clean modern room in close proximity to the airport. very friendly staff.. Very good value per money. Exactly what we needed to sped couple of nights after unexpected cancellation of our flight.

Cons: Room was a bit noisy, and not much to see around the property.

Zudem fehlen abdunkelnde Vorhänge, was das Schlafen erschwert.

Comfortable and close to the airport.

Pros: I checked in late at night and the attendant Omar was very welcoming, kind and professional. The room was brand new, hot water shower and very comfortable. In the morning they had coffee and smiles waiting. That was really nice.

Cons: It was not easy to find even though it's on the main road. It's not a great area but it's secure and close to the airport so well worth it.
