Arenal cautiva

Pros: Spacious apartments run by a great couple who go out of their way to provide a great stay. Recently built and decorated with style. Even though we had two full days of rain this was our best stay in Costa Rica. Located in a small village, away from the crowds and with a view of the lake.

Cons: Nothing, but be prepared for power outages (same for any place in Costa Rica when the weather is bad since trees will fall on the power lines)

Perfect home base

Pros: They went above and beyond for us! Room was clean and comfortable, all necessary kitchen equipment provided, bathroom was clean and shower was hot, hosts were so friendly, parking available. I had asked if the room could have a bit of decoration for a friend's birthday surprise and they nailed it!

Cons: Bit of a trek to get out there

Perfect, lovely hosts

Pros: We had a wonderful stay in this apartment. It is beautifully furnished, very comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. What made the experience truly special were the hosts .. incredibly helpful, funny, and genuinely pleasant people who made us feel welcome from the very first moment. Thank you so much for the lovely time and for making our stay so enjoyable. We would gladly come back anytime!

Impeccable !

Pros: Le logement est neuf et impeccable. Tout est propre, la cuisine est bien équipée et les lits sont très confortables (point important pour moi). Les propriétaires sont aimables, soucieux de notre bien-être et disponibles. Ils seront heureux de vous faire des suggestions que ce soit d'activités ou de restaurants. L'appartement est bien situé, tout près du volcan Arenal. Le quartier est sécuritaire et les habitants aimables. Je recommande.

Cons: Un peu bruyant à cause des animaux des voisins .

Sehr komfortabeles Apartment in ruhiger, ländlicher Umgebung

Pros: Unser Zimmer kann man nur als luxuriös bezeichnen. Wir hatten zwei große, sehr bequeme Betten, eine schöne Sitzecke und eine Kitchenette mit allem, was man sich nur wünschen kann. Das Bad und die Dusche waren ebenfalls sehr komfortabel. Die Gastfreundschaft der beiden Gastgeber außergewöhnlich. Wir wurden umfangreich mit Tipps für die Umgebung versorgt und die beiden waren jederzeit ansprechbar. Wir fühlten uns wie zu Hause. wir haben vor allem die Ruhe sehr geschätzt. Die Anfahrt ist mit jedem PKW problemlos möglich. Man sollte allerdings wissen, dass es sich hier eher um eine Ferienwohnung handelt, man kocht sich morgens seinen Kaffee selbst und bekommt ein großes Tablett mit reichlich Obst und einem Süßgebäck aufs Zimmer gebracht. Man kann fußläufig auch Restaurants zum Abendessen erreichen.

Amazing stay near La Fortuna

Pros: We loved everything about our stay here. It’s in a quiet area about 30 minutes from La Fortuna. The host Adan and his wife are so kind. The room was outstanding and super clean, the beds were cozy and the breakfast of fruit and pastries hit the spot. Adan went above and beyond to make our stay a good one and offered his scope to bird watch as well as the use of their jacuzzi. There are some good restaurants not far from their place and the view from the room is spectacular. I cannot recommend staying here enough! It’s well worth the detour from the main busy area of La Fortuna. Bonus: Their dogs on site are adorable and super friendly!

Cons: Nothing!

Pros: The property was brand new construction, and everything was spotless with nice thoughtful touches, the pictures don’t do it justice! (If the host is reading I will edit your photos to let in more light) We had a comfortable and relaxing nights stay in a nice neighborhood that’s some nice houses surrounding us.

Cons: A nice fruit platter along with milk to go in our coffee was delivered in the morning to us. Nice hosts and a fantastic job cleaning. The roads were fine in a 14 passenger van but we did park at the top of the driveway. We would stay here again, a great value. Hot shower!

Pros: Amazing host, breakfast was delicious, and the view… stunning! I highly recommend it
