Pros: Hosts were fantastic. Rooms, pool and outdoor kitchen/ bar are beautiful. Breakfast is wonderful. Daniel is very friendly, accommodating with anything we needed and his English is very good for us to communicate with him

Cons: First night the room we had was a bit noisy from traffic from Main Street. The hosts mentioned they are planning on doing some modifications for soundproofing. Stayed several nights in the the building in the back and it was wonderful

Pros: Good pool Good gate security Great breakfast service Great location for La Fortuna. 5 minutes from the hotsprings areas.

Cons: Some of the hotel rooms are directly beside main road traffic. These rooms are noisy until 11 p.m. and starts back up at 6 a.m. Sleeping in is more difficult here. Noise is heavily dependent on how many people sit outside drinking alcohol until 11 p.m. Tourists and CR people will be there. The owners are looking to reinforce the building to soundproof the majority of the noises. Once that is complete, this place will be way better. I recommend double pan glass as well to insulate the rooms with the air conditioner and roofing that will keep the rain from making too much noise at the top as well.
