Pros: The lovely family that runs the business. Very quiet place to rest between the hikes.

Cons: A bit far from the villages, but with a car that isn't a problem.

Lovely and relaxing.

Pros: It was a lovely room , clean and comfortable surrounded by plants and trees. Only a couple of other bungalows so quiet.

Cons: We had a hire car might not be that convenient if you didn’t have transport.

Gorgeous family-run forest retreat

Pros: This is a lovely family run place, the people are so friendly and accommodating! The bungalow is really cute and has a well equipped kitchen area. There are lots of little things that show care and attention to detail have been taken in everything inside. The breakfast is lovely too plus we could hear howler monkeys from the forest nearby when we were having our breakfast! My kids loved it!

Cons: Nothing! It may be easier to do the last bit of road if you have a 4x4 is the only thing I would mention, but that certainly isn’t a negative!

Pros: The hosts were friendly and welcoming. They recommended things to do in the area. The breakfast was amazing, and they even treated us to fresh coconut water. This place is a short drive from La Fortuna. It’s a true gem!

Fantastic, comfortable, calm place

Pros: Very clean and comfortable bungalow. Fast WIFI, AC perfectly working, hot water, comfortable bed. Fantastic breakfast served to your room. Very kind and helpful owners. Very easy communication. Very calm place, a lot birds and we even sow the sloth.

A great place to stay just outside La Fortuna

Pros: Jou and Leydi were fantastic hosts: friendly, welcoming, responsive, and with good recommendations. We communicated with them a lot before we arrived, and they booked us a night tour at a nearby family farm, and we really enjoyed it. The place was new and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and filling. They even have a resident sloth!

Cons: Heard some sound from the adjacent room (two suites share a wall, the other suite is on its own).
