Great stop when crossing from San Jose to Puerto viejo.

Pros: Amazing location, nestled on a hill top in the Costa Rican hills. Garden is a perfect spot for humming bird pics due to the selection of beautiful flowering plants. Nice fire pit with expansive views

Gorgeous location

Pros: The views from the house are fantastic - it's on top of a hill and has a terrace where you can watch the sunset. We left the curtains open and saw a shooting star from our bed. The house is very well equipped, clean, and comfortable (they even provide a pair of binoculars and a telescope). Fabulous little house surrounded by beautiful gardens where you can watch hummingbirds and toucans. Simply gorgeous.

Cons: We booked it late so there was confusion about it's location, and the gentleman who lives at the bottom of the hill doesn't speak English (also our fault for not learning Spanish) but better signage would have helped.

Pros: Watching the birds from the balcony, the decor, the size.

Cons: Getting up to the bedroom was difficult so we stayed in the bed downstairs. We still had to go up the stairs when going to the balcony. Wasn't really a problem though, just a little precarious with my 2 cameras and long heavy lenses!

Fabulous peaceful location especially if you like be away from touristy hubs.

Pros: Fabulous location and comfortable cabin with great views. Just disappointed we only had one night there.

Property with amazing view

Pros: Amazing location and breathtaking view on surroundings. Well equipped, with fresh interior.

Little cabin on the hill overlooking the countryside

Pros: - spectacular location - road to reach house was in good condition (no 4x4 needed) - everything we needed was there - warm welcome from the host

Cons: - due to heavy rain we had a water in the kitchen - the location and way of construction led to two large spiders inside the cabin

I will definitely be visiting again!

Pros: The view was stunning 360 degrees around. It is a fantastic place to relax while enjoying the view on the deck. There's a very nice fire pit as well.

This place was a hidden gem for us, far from the hustle and bustle of the coasts and the tourists main attractions.

Pros: You get what you book : a little container cabin on top of a mountain, with the minimum equipment necessary to your stay - and it is wonderful. The view is breathtaking, there is a large garden where our dog could play, it is very (very) peaceful. upon arrival, we were upgraded to the newer and larger cabin as it was available. It was really perfect for us. The host was super friendly and helpful, he even took us on a hike to a river one day.

Cons: Don’t go if you’re afraid of bugs :)

Pros: The view was breathtaking. The cabin had everything you could need and it was clean. The family owned restaurant across the road was also wonderful and the food was delicious. Sad we only stayed one night but would definitely stay again.
