Beautiful, peaceful, dreamy ❤️

Pros: Beautiful, quiet, great facilities and the kitchenette had everything I needed. The bed was really comfy and being able to get Netflix was a great bonus as a solo traveller. The ice bath was AMAZING and the pool was stunning!! The hosts were so nice, had a great variety of classes in the yoga shala (additional cost) a few food places that deliver (take cash if you don’t have a car like me) a shop within walking distance which stocked most things you would need, walking distance to the beach and driving distance to some great towns, beaches and restaurants. I felt really safe, comfortable and at home here. It was a wonderful stay and a lucky find!

Cons: My room was quite dark inside in the daytime which I know is probably on purpose to keep it cool but I was doing a working retreat and was hoping for a bright / well lit space. Definitely more of a me problem 😂! Could maybe do with some more sun loungers around the pool - there was only once during my stay that they were in use when I wanted to use them but if you were hiring the space as a retreat centre and gave everyone some downtime it would maybe be an issue.

I definitely recommend Balu Retreat!

Pros: It is a magical space with a beautiful pool. You can also explore a trail within the private property, a supermarket next door, and a few restaurants within walking distance. The owners take care of you and are very responsive. You can also take yoga classes in a shala on your own, book massages in your room, or just chill and enjoy the brand new facilities.

Cons: Everything was perfect!

Pros: The location was rather remote, in a small gated community. There is a market that is at the entrance to the property and a really nice beach about a 20 min walk away. The pools and dogs on the property were the best part. Logan is a great host and we will be returning

Pros: Il posto semplicemente fantastico! Location particolare con tutto l'occorrente anche per cucinare, spazi ampi e curati. Immerso nel verde circondato da scimmiette! Piscina bellissima e molto curata. Il proprietario semplicemente FANTASTICO ci ha avvisato di eventi nei dintorni (come la liberazione dei cuccioli di tartaruga) ai quali ci tenevamo a partecipare, disponibile e sempre reperibile! Un esperienza fantastica!!!

Amazing first place in Costa Rica to stay, would recommend to anyone wanting to go to Costa Rica.

Pros: The property has been very well designed and maintained. Everything is a short walk and the pool and yoga shala are great places to hangout and enjoy your time. Logan was incredibly welcoming and helpful.

Cons: That we didn’t stay longer (not the property’s fault)

Pros: Além da acomodação ser ótima, super confortável, poder usar das comodidades do condomínio foi incrível, as piscinas são uma experiência a parte, tudo muito lindo

Maravillosas vacaciones

Pros: La locación en general,el lugar es paradisíaco,muy relajante para compartir en familia, tranquilo ;un lugar con varios entretenimientos para recrearse durante la estancia.Se siente como estar en casa con todas las comodidades .Se encuentra cerca de excelentes playas y restaurantes muy accesibles

Pros: The grounds are beautiful and our kids loved the pool area. They had great coffee available to guests and Logan was very friendly and helpful.

Cons: The only thing we would have changed is to have a softer bed.

Magic in Playa junquillal

Pros: Logan uppvisar en stor gästfrihet och gör allt för att hans gäster ska få en bra vistelse. Dom gemensamma delarna är fantastiska. Playa junquillal är en gömd ädelsten.

Cons: Man bör känna till att det finns rum som är lite speciella, vi bodde i den ena bussen, vilket var lite trångt, framförallt om man är lång.

Würden immer wieder kommen.

Pros: Die Anlage ist sauber, gepflegt und sehr komfortabel. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Logan ist ein großartiger Host und war immer mit Rat und Tat zur Stelle. Wir haben dort eine wirklich schöne Zeit verbracht. Vielen Dank.

Cons: Wir hatten eine Hütte unterhalb einer Terrasse. Die Gäste die drüber wohnten, waren leider nicht sehr rücksichtsvoll und sehr laut.
