Awesome location, great space, everything you could want

Pros: Amazing location, awesome hosts. Great stay, the space is very tranquil :)

Relaxing Paradise with Sloths and a Stunning Volcano

Pros: What an amazing place! The cottage is easy to reach, yet you feel completely immersed in nature. The kitchen had everything we could possibly need, and the complimentary coffee was such a treat. Sitting outside, you overlook the beautifully maintained garden, and the host, Anna, even lets you know when sloths are spotted in the trees—a truly unique and wonderful touch! In the area, we loved relaxing in the thermal baths, hiking up the Miravalles Volcano (challenging but so rewarding!), and visiting Rincón de la Vieja. We also took plenty of time to simply unwind, which fit perfectly into our travel plans. On our way there we passed by Rio Celeste, another absolute highlight and well worth a day trip.

Cons: The only thing to keep in mind is that you have to look a bit harder for restaurants or coffee places, and they’re usually about a 10-minute drive away—but it’s absolutely worth it!

Pros: Ana is a fantastic person with a big heart and lots of knowledge about plants and flowers in the surrounding area. We were so lucky to have a sloth in the trees and and could even watch the armadillo in the garden. The colorful birds were just amazing. A great place to stay and calm down. Thank you Ana!!!

Pros: Great rural location. Accommodation is well equpped. Garden is a green oasis. Best accessed by car but can take bus from Loberia and ask bus driver to stop outside Greenhouse Lodge. Ana the host is very helpful. As we didnt have a car, she arranged for a taxi to take us to the local hot springs and also to Upala bus station so that we could then catch bus to La Fortuna.

Pros: The lofts are interesting and the gardens are beautiful. I enjoyed sitting in the gazebo with my coffee, watching the birds.

Cons: The couch is a little uncomfortable as were the pillows on the bed. The dishes had not been washed properly by the last occupant, but I don’t hold that against the host.

Idyllisches Zuhause unterwegs

Pros: Liebevoll eingerichtete Casita in idyllischem, schön gestalteten Garten. Herzliche Gastgeberin, sehr hilfreich mit Tipps. Eine schöne Gegend, die touristisch noch recht unberührt ist! Gute Durchfahrtsstrasse.

Cons: Früh morgens etwas Strassenlärm

A serene and calm loft perfect for a getaway

Pros: Anna and her husband (sorry I forgot his name) were wonderful hosts! They answered all of our questions, gave us great tips, and were very welcoming. The loft itself is beautiful and very comfortable. The kitchen was well-equipped, too. The yard has beautiful sunsets and is a lovely hang out to watch birds and read a book. I wish we could have stayed longer!

Cons: Our loft has a winding staircase that took a little getting used to, but it wasn't awful.

Espectacular

Pros: Las instalaciones y la atención de los dueños fueron excelentes. El lugar es muy lindo, amplio y tranquilo. ideal para unos días de descanso. El loft totalmente equipado.

Pros: Très joli loft, confortable, dans un cadre reposant et bien équipé. Emplacement idéal pour visiter la zone du Volcan Miravalles et le Volcan Rincon de la Vieja et alentours.
