Pros: I had the pleasure of staying at Donde Chalo, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience. From the very first moment, I felt truly welcomed and well taken care of. The owner is an incredibly warm, kind, and highly organized person. She is always happy to help — whether it’s organizing tours, purchasing ferry tickets, or providing helpful local recommendations. Her dedication makes guests feel comfortable and completely at ease. The property itself offers everything you need to relax surrounded by nature. Guests have access to a swimming pool, a spacious open kitchen, and a child-friendly area. The apartment was modern, fully equipped, and spotlessly clean. I wholeheartedly recommend staying at Donde Chalo to anyone looking for comfort, tranquility, and genuine hospitality. I would gladly return!

Visit to repeat!
Pros: We really enjoyed our stay Dónde Chalo. The staff is amazing, we also loved the dog 😍. Kitchen has everything you need, even more! The swimming pool is nice and the place all around is charming and natural. I really recommend this place, you can know a small village called Vainilla and be in loved of the privacy of the place.

Pros: Very peaceful location and stay, spacious communal kitchen, comfortable room with good shower, Glenda and Chalo (fluent in English) were excellent with plenty of information about tours, restaurants and things to see, pool was great for a refreshing dip at the end of the day, Bela the dog is very friendly, I would definitely stay here again
Cons: You do need a car to get to this location but it is worth it

Great value, clean and comfortable
Pros: Great place, great value, highly recommended, specially if you travel with a big group. It had everything that was advertised. The staff was kind and helpful, also very responsive, I would stay again for sure. The place is clean and in a good state.

Pros: El lugar es increíble, se respira paz y tranquilidad, la naturaleza alrededor es fascinante, la piscina un plus que da calidez y confort al alojamiento. El trato de los anfitriones excepcional.

Donde Chalo is quiet place with plenty of space to chill.
Pros: Donde Chalo was relaxing and off the beaten track. The compound has a neat pool and large open kitchen for you to cook your meals. The room comes with a fridge. We had excursions to Isla Tortuga and did the biolumenicense kayaking, both in Paquera, near the ferry (40 min drive from Donde Chalo).

Havre de paix et de verdure
Pros: La tranquillité et la qualité du gîte. Grande chambre avec frigo, clim et douche (a l'eau chaude !) A côté de la chambre, une grande cuisine commune bien équipée et un jardin qui invite à la détente avec sa piscine, chaises longues, ses fauteuils et hamacs. Glenda est très prévoyante et fournit toutes les informations nécessaires a un séjour parfait. Un endroit où on reviendra avec plaisir !
