Excellent location for nature lovers

Pros: Garden, all the family- they take care about guests, like family members

Cons: Humidity in the room, and different type of creatures- big bags, lizards.

The Perfect Costa Rica Experience

Pros: Everything that previous reviews have said about this location are correct. You would be hard-push to find a more beautiful setting which although relatively close to the road, is completely hidden by vegetation. The owner's family has created this corner of paradise over a period of 40 years. They have created a series of pools and ponds supporting nature, particularly a variety of frogs. They have a small ecological vegetable garden behind the house. Below the terrace, separate from the house, hidden away they created a pavilion with five bedrooms. The only sounds you will hear are those of birds and frogs, the co owner was delightful and took us on a tour by night to spot rare varieties of amphibian. We were there during a spectacular thunderstorm. If you want to experience the real Costa Rica rural life, this is about as close as you can get.

Pros: Großartige Unterkunft mit tollen Gastgebern. Die Zimmer sind recht einfach gehalten, aber trotzdem sehr schön. Man kann Frühstück und auch Abendessen für einen fairen Preis bekommen. Die Gastgeber geben sich sehr viel Mühe und man fühlt sich einfach wohl hier. Von der überdachten Terrasse aus kann man sehr viele Vögel beobachten. Hugo und Dinia stehen einem mit Rat und Tat zur Seite (auch mit einem Fernglas wenn nötig). Uneingeschränkt zu empfehlen!

Cons: Que la cerradura de la puerta de la habitación se encuentre en optimas condiciones. Ya que se encuentra con la base floja. Lo que dificulta poder abrir y cerrar.

Pros: Such an incredible experience staying here! Jen, Hugo, and the rest of the Botanica team made me feel right at home and taught me so much on their beautiful property. I loved the farm and garden tour, the resident sloths (!!) and home cooked meals. Thank you!
