Pros: Very Nice familie farm with special cacao en coffee tour. Very hospitale. Exclusief jungle for spotting the slot. Blue jeans frog and full of birds. No national park needed. The garden of the family farm is a national park. Perfect for family with baby.

Amazing experience at a local cacao/coffee farm near la fortuna

Pros: We loved our stay at Casa La Esperanza! The staff of this accommodation is super friendly and helpful. Its located on a coffee / cacao farm, and they also offer workshops and nightwalks. They even have a sloth living right behind the house when we were there. We had the most amazing experience and everyday we cooked in a very well equipped kitchen! We even got some vegetables from their garden, especially the potato’s and starfruit was amazing!

Cons: You need a car to get to the location, because its about an 40 minute drive to la fortuna. The road to the place is very nice and you don’t need a 4x4 to get there.
