I would definitely return to this place of rest , relaxation and gorgeous natural beauty !

Pros: The property itself is absolutely gorgeous - serene and tranquil . The pools are outstanding ! Beach is not really swimmable especially when the tides are in

Cons: The WiFi is really very poor and the restaurant should have more options especially if staying for a week and longer

A walk on the Tang Mar beach is second to none.

Pros: A gem of a place, where many other places are touristy and run down, the Tango Mar is a wonderful, classy place for a relaxing holiday.

Fantastic hotel, fantastic staff, fantastic location

Pros: We stayed in the tropical suites which were great. Set in quite a remote beautiful location with fantastic views and an abundance of wildlife. The staff were great and was made to feel very welcome. Had a great time and didn’t want to leave. Would definitely recommend.

Cons: More of a recommendation than a dislike, but due to the location you really need a hire car or you may feel a bit stranded.

Just perfect:)

Pros: A perfect location. The setting at the beach front and the beach itself is a dream. Whilst tranquility is enjoyable, for those who require action, various options are available, such as Golf, Tennis and excursions into the regions natural treasures.

Beautiful beachfront hotel, perfect for a quiet 5 night family getaway!!

Pros: You couldn’t get a more private and beautiful beach location. Its picture post card beautiful beach is just out of this world and honestly would be difficult to beat given it’s literally a 2 km private beach…max 10 people on at any one time! Pool was really nice and swim up bar a nice touch. Our kids enjoyed the smoothies and we enjoyed the cocktails! The hotel looks like something out of a Roger Moore based James Bond movie. Tonnes of charm and unbelievable setting.

Cons: Breakfasts were pretty basic, not unpleasant but perhaps not quite 4* hotel standard. Sometimes felt some of staffs smiles were a little jaded or forced, not all.

Pros: Amazing beach and beach view around the hotel. Pretty nice and quiet off the busyness of Montezuma. Various pool locations around the property.

Cons: If fully booked out, the pool area might be somewhat crowded and we are not sure if enough sunbeds would be around to cover a fully booked Tango Mar Resort. Pool bar is cute, but drinks are quite expensive, given the lack of competition around the premises.
