Mar y Sombra Villas

Lovely place to stay.

Pros: A very peaceful, comfortable villa that has been decorated beautifully. There is a hammock on the balcony with a stunning view of the beach. It’s a steep hill to get there, we didn’t have a 4x4 but we managed it. Mary (the owner) was really helpful. It wasn’t as near to Manuel Antonio National Park as we thought it was but that was our mistake, saying that, it was only 15 minutes drive away.

Cons: I found the drive up to it, a little hairy but my partner didn’t.

Beautiful location and very well-kept villa

Pros: Fantastic location overlooking harbour, amazing for sunset. Great communication and friendliness from staff. Immaculately clean and well kept. We would highly recommend

Cons: A kettle would be really useful

Unique property with amazing wildlife all around!

Pros: Stunning wildlife in the area! Monkeys, birds, iguanas etc… Very cool! Lovely views of the sea. Has a hammock outside where you can relax and enjoy the sights around you. Friendly and helpful host (Maria) - well-connected in the tourist industry and happy to give recommendations/suggestions.

Cons: Accessibility a little tricky; have to drive up quite steep narrow slopes (although part of the charm of the place is that it is at an altitude). Takes about 6-10 mins to walk up.

Great place, great host

Pros: The stay was very good. - There is a beautiful terrace where you can relax and from where you have a great view on the Pacific. - The host is very friendly and committed to make my whole stay a great experience. E.g. she helped me with booking a tour to the Manuel Antonio national reserve and helped solve planning issues due to delay of this tour. - Everthing you need is present in the apartment, eg. there is a refrigerator, airco, mosquito nets in front of the windows. - The apartment was very clean.

Pros: The most beautiful view I have ever seen. The owner is super kind and help with everything (tours, tips for good spots, national parks etc.) also they give you free parking spot on the beach (trust me you need it ) . Recommend 100%

Tosse Unterkunft mit super Lage

Pros: Sehr schöne Lage der Unterkunft mit Ausblick auf den Hafen und den Strand von Quepos. Ausgestattet mit allem was es braucht. Kommunikation verlief super und die Angebote für Unternehmungen von Mary gross.

Très bien mais difficile d'accès.

Pros: Très belle vue. Parfait sur toute la ligne sauf l'accès difficile par la route.

Cons: La côte asphaltée et plus indications sur le chemin d'entrée.

Magnifique séjour

Pros: La vue est magnifique, l'eau de la douche est chaude, studio bien aménagé, cuisine extérieure, environnement chaleureux, l'emplacement

Cons: Il.nous a manqué une fourchette pour commencer le séjour, mais ça a été vite rectifié

Fantastisk utsikt og vert, aper, sloths og annet dyreliv foran terrassen, sol gikk ned bak nytt hotell, rent og komfort

Pros: Hadde alt vi trengte, god plass, air condition fungerte topp, det var rent, sengen god, utsikten er flott, verten er helt fantastisk

Cons: Mislikte ingenting, men man er helt avhengig av bil og helst være litt erfaren sjafør :)

sehr schöne, liebevoll eingerichtete Unterkunft. Sehr engagierte Host.

Pros: Sehr liebevoll ausgestattetes Zimmer. Sehr sauber. Bequemes Bett mit anschliessendem Badezimmer. Eigener Sitzplatz mit Liegestühlen und Hängematte. Sehr schöne Aussicht. Sehr zuvorkommende Gastgeberin.

Cons: Zufahrt zur Wohnung ist anspruchsvoll. Wohnung ist am Hang, eher etwas abgelegen. Auto ist notwendig.
