Amazing place and great value
Pros: The apartment was immaculate and better equipped than my house - the kitchen had everything you could possibly need, the bathroom products were great, the bed was really comfortable and the biggest I’ve ever slept in, and there were even eye masks and slippers. We loved the balcony, the jacuzzi bath, and how quiet and peaceful the surroundings were. It was also excellent value for money - we’d absolutely stay again if we’re back in Monteverde :)

Best place ever!
Pros: Great location near St Elena and right beside a wildlife refuge (had a visit on the patio by a coatimundi once)! Well appointed full kitchen,2 separate bedrooms (one with ensuite) and beautiful tastefully appointed bathrooms (one massive with a walk in shower). Great beds with excellent sheets. Plenty of parking. Safe area. Jesse the host went above and beyond expectations. He forwarded a list of tours in advance and even booked us in for last minute excursions!

Ruim, schoon en nieuw appartement!
Pros: Het appartement is zeer ruim. Is van alle gemakken voorzien en heeft zelfs een jacuzzi (hier hebben we helaas geen gebruik van gemaakt). Je kan met een sleutel naar binnen, maar ook met een code op de deur. Grote keuken met alles erop en eraan. Vanaf de fijne veranda hebben we vele toekans kunnen spotten. We hadden last minute (laat in de avond) geboekt waardoor we niet bij aankomst konden betalen (door de nieuwheid kan het nog niet per pin). De eigenaar was erg flexibel en gaf aan dat we het de volgende dag mochten betalen.
Cons: Een klein minpuntje; de temperatuur van de douche was niet constant.

We loved our stay and would certainly return.
Pros: The apartment was clean and comfortable and well equipped. Location was much more convenient than I’d expected. Excellent value for the money. Communication with Jesse and Cristina was very good from booking to departure. Their recommendations for activities and restaurants were spot on, and they even made the reservations for us.

Wonderfu,l Beautiful Place
Pros: This is a new property and the apartment we stayed in was very spacious, well-equiped, clean, and comfortable. It was a bit luxurious because it even had a jetted spa tub! We wish we had stayed here longer than two nights.
Cons: The remote communication for check-in was difficult for us (calling on What's App, texting, getting codes on email, etc). We are not sure how someone could check-in without local phone service or some kind of internet. The place is a bit remote and high winds shut down the power for a while during our last night there.

New and perfectly maintained property
Pros: Biofilia is a wonderful place if you value privacy, open views, frequent rainbows, and stylish accommodations. The property was recently completed, so everything feels new and well maintained. The building has 2 floors with 4 apartments in total. The left and right wings are separated by a hallway, so you barely notice your neighbors. The kitchen is very well equipped, the water pressure is good, and both a washer and dryer are available. Not only are the apartments beautiful, but the common areas and landscaping are thoughtfully curated as well, which makes the entire property look fantastic. The location is next to the Monteverde Wildlife Refuge and you can expect some great wildlife sightings nearby.
Cons: Nothing, everything is perfect
