Lovely stay with a surprise dinner. Will be back!

Pros: The property is gorgeous and the view is lovely. We could choose between two rooms and both looked really nice. Bathroom is modern. Breakfast was delicious. Currently the nearby restaurant is closed but the lovely Italian lady at Canal Grande Lodge made a delicious pasta meal for us and two other couples. There was also wine and cocktails available in the bar so we did not have to leave the property in the evening.

Cons: We only stayed one night. This is a place to come to chill for a few days.

Relaxed stay close to vibrant capital

Pros: We loved the warm welcome at the Canal Grande Lodge. Great Host with good tips, friendly and helpful. Great view on the city. Close enough to airport and city but still very calm. Small but fine pool to relax, quiet garden and a good breakfast. We will come back for sure...

Pros: Great location close to the airport, Nice room, great decor

Cons: Only unfortunate..... that there is no lunch, but while we waited the owner brought us a small snack and let us have a later check out

Peaceful

Pros: Lovely and peaceful, surrounded by greenery, yet still close to the airport. We stayed for two nights while passing through. The breakfast was great, there’s a nice little pool, and the staff were incredibly kind and helpful.

Ideal for the 1st night after landing

Pros: An excellent place for the first overnight stay after arrival—only 20 minutes from the airport, yet already surrounded by nature with a great view. A very welcoming hostess, Silvia, who also gave us helpful recommendations for the next part of our travel route.

Cons: The breakfast was, frankly speaking, not tasty.
