Deer House Cabuya

Best accommodation we have stayed in in Costa Rica in 5 locations!

Pros: Beautiful, spacious, clean & cosy. It has every amenity you could need for a stay; parking, cooking, laundry, shower etc. Hosts were amazing throughout the stay…welcoming & attentive. The bed was huge and comfy and the hammocks outside were lovely too. No complaints at all about our stay - we extended for one night and would absolutely go back.

Amazing stay

Pros: We LOVED everything about our stay at The Deer House. The owners are very friendly, attentive, and quick to help with any questions we had about the area and provided great recommendations. The room itself is very clean, spacious, beautifully decorated and the kitchen is well equipped. There is a fan and air-con which we were grateful for as we don’t like to sleep with the air-con on. The surrounding area is beautiful with lots of wildlife we saw deers, monkeys, horses, iguanas and lots of birds. It’s very peaceful and quiet at night meaning we had a great nights sleep.

Cons: Nothing - everything was perfect

Pros: Great place to relax and unwind in nature. You have everything you need to cook and chill in a relaxed air conditioned environment with hammocks outside. During my stay there were horses and deer roaming outside, with the sounds of monkeys and other wildlife. Also near the nature reserve and Isla de Cabuya for excursions. Highly recommended.

Clean, comfortable studio in a peaceful location

Pros: Friendly hosts, spotless accommodation with an equipped kitchen and reliable wifi. Walking distance to Cabo Blanco Nature Reserve and grocery stores. Highly recommend.

Pros: Nous etions dans la nature, au calme. Nous avons pu voir les biches et aussi les iguanes. Le logement etait propre, agréable, la literie parfaite.

Cons: J’ai eu des difficultés a trouver l’entrée malgré les explications que j’avais reçues, le signe a trouver est au format 21x29,7 et assez discret. J’ajoute une photo si ca peut aider, mais le mieux serait de mettre un repère plus grand et qui se remarque.

Wonderful place so close to natural features

Pros: Appearance. Very pleasing In forest so wonderful for bird watching Kitchen well furnished Bed very comfortable

Cons: Bugs upstairs … only one a day. Beetle that crept under the sheet Needed a night light … the salt crystal didn’t work maybe just burnt out

Pros: El alojamiento estaba muy bien equipado y con mucha privacidad, los anfitriones muy amables. Nuestros perros estuvieron muy cómodos y felices.

For birdwatchers and lovers of other wildlife and nature it is perfect. Expect to be woken up in the mornings by howler

Pros: The apartment was very clean, had everything that I needed for cooking if I wanted, and it was very comfortable and quiet … and perfect for birdwatching. I chose it because it was so close to the entrance to the Cabo Blanco Absolute Natural Reserve (an easy 200 m walk), but was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable that I felt in my apartment.

Pros: L'équipement du bungalow avec sa cuisine et son espace lingerie à l'arrière Son jardin L'accueil d'Ingrid et Estaban et leur réactivité dès que l'on pose une question La proximité du parc CABO BLANCO à pied et 2 petites supérettes Super Chico et Super David Les plages entre Cabuya et Montézuma La literie confortable

Cons: Tout était parfait

Loin des chemins de traverse,une expérience authentique et haut en couleurs dans mon voyage en Amérique centrale!!

Pros: Vous arrivez dans une petite entreprise familiale où chaque membre de celle-ci fait son possible pour rendre votre voyage merveilleux. De la bienveillance à la prévenance dans chaque moment de votre vie vous vous sentirez soutenu dans le plus grand respect de l’être. Longue vie à ce type d’expérience inter culturelle !!
