Pros: Very friendly and welcoming hosts, gave good recommendations and even brought us fresh fruit every morning. Beautiful place to stay, with a fantastic view on the volcano and many many colourful birds. Good location near la Fortuna. We will remember this place!

Little Oasis in La Fortuna close to waterfall.

Pros: This is a special place owned and run by a lovely couple. We had a very comfortable stay and enjoyed their beautifully planted gardens together with watching a variety of birds every morning feeding at the bird tables. A special touch was having a lovely fruit box left outside our door each morning. Elizabeth also gave us a recommendation for a very good restaurant within walking distance .

Cons: Really nothing. Caution needed while using steps and stairs.

An absolute gem!

Pros: An absolute gem! The architecture of house is stunning as well as the decoration. It is spacious, modern, but still authentic, the bed is huge and super comfy, large bathrooms and nice view on the garden. Ivette and partner are super friendly and very helpful. We saw more species of birds here than during our whole trip! Highly reccomended.

Great place, and great facilities

Pros: Loved that it was on a split level, and also the owners added some nice touches for our stay, and provided a lot of great recommendations

Cons: The side road to get to the property is not the easiest to drive on

Great stay in La Fortuna – easy, comfortable, and well-located!

Pros: We had a fantastic experience at Arenal Getaway. The location was perfect — close to everything in La Fortuna, and getting around with Uber was super easy and affordable. The host was incredibly helpful and responsive, providing clear instructions that made check-in and our entire stay smooth and stress-free. Everything was exactly as described, and we felt well taken care of. Perfect spot for exploring the surrounding attractions. Would definitely stay here again!
