Chirripó Oasis

A definite oasis!

Pros: Chirripoʻ Oasis is the perfect spot for beautiful views, bird watching and spacious access to the surrounding grounds. They have a wonderful viewing platform to a waterfall a short walk through the grounds that we really enjoyed. The host's father-in-law has created a beautiful garden, and the hosts are knowledgable and passionate about the surrounding wildlife (you'll learn a lot!). There are feeding platforms for birds viewable from the balcony, where we saw plenty of interesting species we hadn't seen elsewhere. A comfortable and relaxing stay, a short drive from local restaurants and the Cloudbridge Reserve.

Cons: Not something we dislike, but there's a small grill oven and plug-in induction hob available for cooking which I dont' think is mentioned in the amenities, which was a plus!

Great place to be to watch birds gardens and find out about coffee plants and sugar cane process

Pros: Really enjoyed the scenery from the balcony over the valley as well as spending time with the hostess bird watching and walking around the property; wonderful waterfall within walking distance and also an old sugar cane press with boiling station

Cons: More time at the site - next time!!

Pros: Le logement en lui même est magnifique. La vue sur les montagnes est sublime, prendre sa douche sur une telle vue c'est incroyable. En plus les draps des lits sont supers doux. En plus de ça les hôtes sont vraiment vraiment adorables. Ils nous ont aidé dans nos déplacements car nous n'avions pas de 4x4 pour accéder au logement. Ils nous ont fait visiter tout le lieu exceptionnel, on est monté tout en haut pour voir les cascades. Dès que nous avions une question ils étaient présents, ils sont super serviables et feront tout pour que votre voyage soit le mieux possible. Nous avons même eu un petit pincement au cœur en partant! Allez y les yeux fermés

Lives up to its name and promiss.

Pros: Enchanting oasis of intentional regenerativity nestled at the feet of Chirripo mountain. Lots of birds to greet our stay. Tricia is a wonderful host and her family and staff were very caring. The local coffee shop was closed that morning and Tricia very kindly invited us to share breakfast with her family. We felt very welcome and privileged to share the valley for a day.

Cons: Nothing to report.

Pros: Jedno z najlepszych miejsc w jakim spałem. Wielki taras z pięknym widokiem, wielkie wygodne łózka, cudowna łazienka (też z widokiem) Przemili i pomocni Właściciele (serdecznie pozdrawiamy). Szkoda że mogliśmy tam być tylko dwie noce

We hebben geweldige dagen gehad !

Pros: Wat een geweldige plek, met uitzicht over de Chirripó vallei. De gastheer en gastvrouw zijn super attent en aardig en hebben ons - uit gastvrijheid - meegenomen op een nachtwandeling en een wandeling door hun park. Ze weten ontzettend veel over de omgeving en hun kennis van de natuur is geweldig en leerzaam. Veel vogels en andere dieren gezien!

Pros: La vue et le somptueux jardin entourant la maison. Les oiseaux et papillons omniprésents.

Cons: Que nous soyons restés seulement une nuit ! Je serais restée qqs jours

Pros: Un véritable coin de paradis ! Nous avons observé autant d’espèces d’oiseaux — dont des toucans — que dans tous les parcs que nous avons visités réunis. Un rêve pour les photographes, c’est clairement le spot à ne pas manquer. Libert, notre hôte, a été d’une gentillesse exceptionnelle : nous avons même laissé notre véhicule chez lui pendant l’ascension du Chirripó et il nous a conduit au départ du sentier, puis est venu nous rechercher. Un immense merci pour cet accueil incroyable, et merci également à Ken pour tous ses précieux conseils.
