Pros: The location is great. It's close to everything but a bit off the crowded area. The Jacuzzi tub is a great addition.

Close to city but quite

Pros: It was a pretty spacious place, The jacuzzi was a nice touch. We stayed only one night but enjoyed it a lot. Comfortable bed, well equipped kitchen, great shower, big garden and terrace. Close to shops and restaurants. Communication with the staff via WhatsApp was great. Thanks Mathias for your help and early check in. Highly recommend this place

Pros: Very comfortable stay, everything you could possibly need and very clean. Location is very central but still feels very private. The guys at the office are very helpful booking tours, transfers etc Recommend!

Pros: -Professional approach from staff. -Quiet location in the centre of town. -Well equipped house - Alarm system -Balcony with sitting area facing the volcano - Beautiful garden

Cons: They use, by default, a PayPal link to pay for the reservation. But we overcame the problem by paying directly to their head office which is only 5min walking distance from the room. And they drove me there also. The only serious recommendation would be to clean the shower better. It wasn't at the level of the rest of the services offered.

Pros: Having a laundry room was great. WiFi was strong. The fact they are in former containers made it unusual, but still nice inside.

Cons: Not much natural light and could have done with more lightening in bedroom around mirror. Wish I'd picked the apartment with spa bath as clouds blocked my view of Arenal :D

Would recommend

Pros: The garden seems like it is a bird sanctuary. There is a sloth living by the tree and you can often see him there. The location is great and it has air conditioning in the room. The terrace is beautiful and you can enjoy your breakfast with all the vibrant colours of the garden and the visiting creatures. It's secluded and calm, altahoyght it's pretty central. They have a coffee machine with filter papers and coffee ready to use. All the kitchen appliances you might require. The staff is responsive and helpful.

Cons: There was a leak next to the bed and our passports and money got soaked inside the safe (somehow). The building is not very noise insulated, so you will be woken by the early birdsong, but I didn't mind this much, as I am an early riser myself.

Pros: Comfortable bed, hot water, responsive and helpful host. Thoughtful extras added to the unit.

Cons: It felt a little secluded, and there were good security measures in place including an electronic gate and an alarm in the unit, also a safe in the room. It just felt like a lot to deal with. The location to town is great.

Tolle gut gelegene Unterkunft mit Terrasse und Küche

Pros: Kommunikation im Vorfeld war nett und freundlich. Man bekommt einen Zahlungslink und dann spätestens 24h vor Anreise alle wichtigen Informationen wie Zugang zum Gelände, Anweisungen für Alarmanlage, Parkplatz (direkt vorm Haus btw). Lage super. Alles gut fussläufig oder mit Auto erreichbar. Ein klein wenig raus aus dem Trubel, aber trotzdem zentral. Die Unterkunft war sauber und gemütlich. Durch die Küche konnten wir uns selber verpflegen. Basics wie Öl, Salz, Pfeffer, Zucker und Kaffee sind vorhanden. Auf der Terrasse konnten wir dann essen oder einfach so sitzen. Schön mit Blick auf die Bäume. Kolibris und Leguane waren auch da. Bett groß und bequem. Smart TV und Klimaanlage. Bad klein aber absolut ausreichend. Whirlpool haben wir ebenfalls genutzt, absolut gemütlich nach nem langen Tag. Sind absolut zufrieden und froh, dass wir diese Unterkunft gebucht haben. Fühlte sich immer ein bisschen wie nach Hause komme an. Pura vida!

Insgesamt eine schöne Wohnung in sehr guter Lage.

Pros: Es war eine schöne Wohneinheit von 2 abtrennbaren Bereichen, mit Blick in den Garten. Der Küchenbereich hatte auch eine Arbeitsplatz mit Bürostuhl , was wir gerne benutzt haben. Das Bett war schön groß und die Matratze war bequem. Das Internet ist sehr gut. Kontakt zum Vermieter unkompliziert über WhatsApp und schnelle Antworten auf Fragen. Wir hatte so einige Tiere im Garten gesichtet ein Faultier auf dem Baum vom Nachtbargrundstück , ein Eichhörnchen, ein Leguan und ein Kolibri. Im unseren Bett hat sich eine kleine Eidechse verlaufen und über dem Bett hatten wir an der Wand eine Küchenschabe, die wahrscheinlich vom Garten hereingekommen ist. Insgesamt haben wir uns ganz wohl gefühlt, deshalb auch 10 Punkte.

Cons: Die Öffnung des Tores zur Einfahrt war nur mit mobilen Internet/ Smartphone möglich. Die Alarmanlage in der Wohnung war etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig , eine Anleitung dafür gab es in der Wohnung. Das Klima im Container war etwas stickig , nur das Badfenster konnte man für frische Luft öffnen , was aber ohne Fliegengitter war und wir deshalb auch viele Stechmücken im Zimmer hatten. Die Jalousien im Poolbereich müssten mal erneuert werden , sind defekt und ziemlich verschlissen.

Are favorite stay in Costa Rica!

Pros: We had a wonderful stay! Beautiful view of the Volcano from the room, friendly staff and 5min walk from the center of town. Would definitely recommend this place if you’re staying in La Fortuna! 😊
