La Fortuna Living - Room

A little gem in La Fortuna

Pros: It's an amazing place and a small family business. Umberto is very kind and can talk to you about Costa Rican culture. They have a \

Cons: There's nothing I didn't like.

Pros: Great location, friendly host, very spacious unit, comfy bed and well kitted out kitchen.

Cons: Cleaning: a four night stay is a bit long without at least the bins being emptied

Very good place, with very kind owner.

Pros: The hotel location is perfect still close to the town centre. I've got a lot of amazing bird pictures in the garden. The owner is very helpful and kind. One time I've got an amazing local beef soup which was amazing and delicious.

Perfect apartment for exploring La Fortuna and around

Pros: Good size room, comfortable, quiet, dark and cool bedroom, equiped kitchen, nice little viewing platform for morning coffees. Able to see volcano, toucans and other birds. Sharing the entry with a lovely family and a shepard dog. Good communications with the host.

Cons: The dog is friendly, but also enthousiastic and he tries out dominance (like sitting on your foot, jumping and play biting, or leaning hard against you) to get your attention. This can be a minus for people. But there is always someone from the family around to check on the dog. They take it on a leash everytime you want to enter through the gates, otherwise it may run out. And if you dont like dogs they will hold it everytime, so dont be scared to come.

Pros: Comfortable and complete. Had a TV with all the apps, a sofa, a kitchen, and a massive bed with AC and no windows, which was great for us since we wanted to sleep in after sunrise. Also a bunk bed in the same room. The owner is nice

Amazing view, good location, best host

Pros: The view is amazing and the hostess are so kind! The room is big and very clean. The best!!

Cons: It would be nice to add an add an electric stove, or allowed a communal kitchen

Pros: The owner was lovely and extremely helpful. Great location as it was slightly out of town so quite peaceful but a very short walk in.

Pros: The host is very nice and the location is great! Close to the center with restaurants nearby.
