The Bees House

Pros: The accommodation is located in a vast plantation garden. In the morning, we could see macaws, vultures, toucans flying in the back part of the garden, a squirrel... Amazing. The accommodation is conveniently near to La Fortuna Waterfall and Arenal Volcano. The kitchen was well equipped and the house was quite spacious, comfortable for four people. Nice colourful plants around the front door. The owners were willing to answer our curious questions about the plants in the garden. We were welcomed with a fresh papaya and bananas.

Cons: The only inconvenience was a rooster crowing in the morning in the neighbourhood. But it must be said that it was the same in all accommodations we stayed in Costa Rica... They are inseparable part of rural areas and better to get used to them😁

Wonderful cozy place to stay!

The Bees House is the bees knees!

Pros: The little bees house had everything we needed. It was nice having two separate bedrooms, and the kitchen was well supplied. Everything was clean, and the air conditioning and fans kept us cool and comfortable. The location was perfect for us - outside of the bustle of central Fortuna, and a short walk to some small markets where we could buy food and drinks, but also just a short drive to get to all the fun activities Fortuna has to offer. Jorge was an excellent host, making us feel very welcome on his property and giving us great recommendations for the area. On the top of everything, the price was incredible. It felt like a steal of a deal. If we ever make our way back here, we will definitely stay here again!

Great location to explore around la Fortuna without the noise of the la fortuna crowds.

Pros: Very charming and welcoming. Bright tropical plants greet you at the entrance. The interior is clean and bright. Jorge welcomed us with fresh papaya, coconuts and banana. I have to confess the fruits were among the best I had in Costa Rica. Everything needed to prepare a meal is available. The

Pros: This is the perfect place for a European, feels like good-value, self-service alpine apartment/chalet. Great deal for families in La Fortuna.

Pros: Sehr herzlicher Empfang, es standen Kokosnüsse im Kühlschrank für uns bereit. Die Küche war gut ausgestattet und alles war sehr sauber. Die große Dusche war super und auch schön warm. Ein Supermarkt und ein hervorragendes Soda ist gleich nebenan
