Macaw Paradise

Pros: Directly at the beach, very well working AC, safe parking, spacious fully equipped apartments, automated access with codes, extremely useful. Our apartment had a sea view and a huge terrace, really happy to find this place.

Cons: There was a strange smell in the apartment, but given the price and the stunning position, we didn't care that much.

Perfect price/quality!

Pros: The bungalow had everything you need : well equipped little kitchen, good airco, nice location, restaurant Lisa & Steven very good accross the street, we loved it

Cons: noise of construction works, dogs and nearby street, take earplugs

Hidden gem at a great price!

Pros: Clean, comfortable room right on the beach! Aircon, TV and kitchenette with tea / coffee makes for a comfortable stay. Good breakfast included at the restaurant opposite.

Cons: Remote location but there are a few restaurants within walking distance. Construction ongoing that started before 7am. Small bathroom and hard pillows but overall wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Pros: Nice modern room with excellent facilities. Great location by the beach, excellent for seeing wildlife. Staff very helpful.

Cons: Only negative was couldn't sleep properly because the air conditioning was so noisy. At night was a choice between being hot and sweaty or trying to sleep through the noise

Pros: Nice and clean accommodation, swimming pool, lots of macaws, everything was perfect.

Pros: Beach front, great pool, nice neighbors, frogs on the beach

Pros: A little corner of relaxation after a long drive. We had a great stay and spent hours watching the scarlet macaws flying and feeding in the trees above us. The location is also perfect for breaking up the journey before heading to Manuel Antonio National Park. I highly recommend taking the time to observe the wildlife among the trees!

Right on a beautiful calm beach

Pros: The location is amazing here. Steps to the beach, which was my favorite part. The ocean is very gentle here, and the sunsets are beautiful. The beaches are a mix of sand and stone so I was very happy for my water shoes. I brought a floatie and floated in the water with gentle waves. There's also a nice clean pool that was quite busy but refreshing to get into. There is a shower by the pool that you can rinse off the salt water. Our room was lovely. We had a full fridge and private bathroom. The kitchen had a hot plate, coffee maker, rice cooker and microwave. Perfect for making our meals. Check-in was very simple and finding the place was also easy. The bed was king size and there was also air conditioning which was lovely. We felt very safe and secure and welcomed by the Costa Rican family that we met each day we were there. Parking was right beside our room. Very safe and secure.

Cons: My sister, the princess, thought the great quality pillows were on the hard side.😀😀😀😀

Pros: The scenery was amazing, were able to see parrots, iguanas, monkeys from the pool! The beach was lovely to walk along and swim in! Felt safe, and had everything you needed!

Nice, clean cabanas. Highly recommended

Pros: Nice & clean cabanas by the ocean , plenty of wildlife around. Would definitely stay again

Cons: Single Sofa bed in the room rather small for adults
