Nice place for a short stay.

Pros: Nice staff, good spacious rooms and a cute dog to greet you on arrival! Loved the decor, felt fun and modern.

Cons: No plugs close to the bed, was quite loud and only thin bedsheets so it did get a little cold.

Pros: 15 min ride from the airport. It was fresh and clean

Convenient and comfortable stay before an early morning flight

Pros: Convenient location for the airport. Good communication with Luis and the owner before arrival. It looked like it had a good kitchen although we didn’t get a chance to use it. Luis made us a bowl of fruit for breakfast even though we had to leave at 3am!

Pros: The room was nice and the bed was comfortable. The location is close to the airport, so we didn’t have to travel far during the night. The street looked safe, so we parked our car in front of the BnB. The breakfast was simple — coffee, great fruit, and toast with jam.

Pros: Good distance from the airport, although slightly tricky for taxi drivers to find. The space was just enough for a solo traveller and loved having a little balcony space to myself to relax on. Clean and plenty of space to place items on. Close walking distance to a small grocery store which is convenient to grab snacks.

Cons: As mentioned, slightly tricky for taxi drivers to find and on a narrow street with cars parked along it.

Very nice and good value for money.

Pros: Lovely room with comfortable bed and a good shower. Check in was easy and there was good communication with the staff.

Cons: The walls seemed quite thin - particularly in the bathroom with could hear all conversations from next door. Breakfast was very basic, but to be expected for the price.

Truly recommendable

Pros: We really liked our time there. It was just one night but we truly recommend it. The room was really clean, big and modern. The bathroom was spacious and very comfortable. We really appreciated the option of breakfast! The location was good - around 20 min driving to the airport, and the building itself was in the calm district of San Jose. The supermarket was really close by and we found some nice restaurants close to the hotel. We can not say nothing bad about this place and for sure we would repeat it! The building was really well organised, clean, the host was very helpful and kind. Thank you for hosting us.

Great place to stay!

Pros: It’s a great place for a day or two whilst you visit San Jose or a do stop by the airport. Luis, the manager, is helpful and easy-going. Kitchen is well stocked and a comfortable place to cook and eat. Our room (8) was comfortable - one pillow was a little too big for comfort. There’s a good supermarket around the corner but just up the road after the American embassy on the right is a shopping complex with a bigger and cheaper supermarket. And a Bank de Costa Rica with free atm withdrawals.

Worth the money.

Pros: Simple and clean. Went the extra mile for a late check in with videos to show us how to self check in.

Cons: No water or hair dryer available. Towels were small and shower mat a little stained.
