Luxury Condo at Viva Jaco Residence

Comfortable, spacious and clean with a great view, maintenance could use improvement

Pros: The apartment is spacious and decorative (some guests may not appreciate the explicit art work, we were okay with it), comfortable, clean and modern. The view is great, it was lovely to sit on the terrace, across the street from the beach. Overall we had a good stay for two nights, despite maintenance issues, because the spacious design and ocean view compensated for that.

Cons: We had problems with the hot water, the owner was nice but not helpful enough (he said they always shower with lukewarm water) and it some took time until we figured how to turn up the heating temperature so that the water was hot for showers. The fridge was disconnected when we arrived and also took time until we realized that the food wasn't getting cold and looked behind the fridge to find the plug out. Also needed to disconnect the fire detector which made an annoying beeping sound every few seconds. The building is somewhat far from the center, but on a main street and there was a lot of noise from motorcycles late at night and from music coming from the hotel across the street.
