Apartamento Karibu

We loved it here and highly recommend if like peace and quiet. We saw lots of bird and animals in the beautiful gardens

Pros: This was the perfect property for nature lovers who appreciate a calm oasis just out of the hustle of Manuel Antonio. Karibu is a pretty apartment with separate living and kitchen areas and the most unique shower! Very restful, waking up to the howler monkeys and birdsong and iguanas. Magical having breakfast on the terrace. Walking distance to a couple of restaurant options. Rosa is a great host - lots of useful tips and she arranged the best guide for us for MA park. He was really outstanding.

Cons: Nothing - perfect stay

Pros: We enjoyed our stay . Spacious room, Bed was comfortable, great shower and beautiful terrace,we enjoed birds watching every morning, plus full kitchen. Rosa is an excellent hostess provided lots of useful recommendations for our trip.

A lovely little oasis with a lot of steps

Pros: I loved the veranda. Great place to sit in the evenings with a wine to watch the lightening! Rosa was a lovely personal touch to our first few days in Costa Rica. She has a lot of good tips

Cons: The 72 steps were difficult with our suitcases. Parking at the top of the property was a bit difficult and guidance was needed every time especially at night so as not to scratch the rented car!

Perfect hostess and comfy accommodation

Pros: Rosa is a fantastic hostess with so much local knowledge to help book trips and has contacts who were most helpful. She is a mind of information as well as a caring individual.

Cons: Nothing unless you were not good with steps as the accomodation is down a number of stairs. It is worth the effort for such a garden view and huge apartment with comfy beds and full kitchen. We loved it!

Pros: Rosa was an extraordinary host and a remarkable person. The place ws spacious, private, comfortable, and well-equipped. The yard was beautiful. We heard parrots and monkeys and enjoyed the view from the private terrace. We were reluctant to leave and highly recommend staying here if you are looking for an intimate getaway.

Cons: A car or bus is required to go anywhere other than Ronny's Restaurant or the local beach because the main road is much too narrow and busy to walk safely, even if you are well-conditioned for the hills and heat. We found the walk down to Quepos on the side road was easier than than going up to the Park restaurants.

Beautiful apartment, lush garden with a view of the Pacific Ocean.

Pros: We had a fabulous time at Apartamento Karibu. We received a warm welcome from Rosa and a lot of useful information about the area and what to do. The place is beautiful and accurately described in many of the reviews. The garden is stunning and we were entertained by the little humming bird, the iguanas, the agouti and the geckos. We had a fabulous time and will certainly be back.

Great experience. Loved it.

Pros: I really liked the big patio. On one side you had ocean view and on the other side you looked right into the rain forest. Well kept garden. Host very helpful. Two very good restaurants close by.

Pros: The nice garden. Rosa is so friendly and was always available when we needed help. Thank you Rosa. The short way to Manuel Antonio Nationalpark was perfect for us.
