Pros: Very nice and spacious apartment. We got a warm welcome, very friendly host who gives good tips and good communication. Also a very clean apartment. Very quiet location, by car 10 minutes from the center. We would definitely recommend this apartment. Nice extra: the dogs and cat are super sweet.

Pros: The cleaning was outstanding. Also the use of our own wassing machine and the help from the owner with everything we needed.

Cons: The roads towards the accomodation were difficult with a normal car. But that goes for a lot of the surrounding of Monteverde.

Pros: Nice cabin. Overall, comfortable and very clean for two couples traveling together. Bathrooms are roomy and host provided soap and shampoo. Washer is available for use in the unit. Location is 10 min drive out of town, but a 4x4 is recommended as roads are unpaved and very rocky to get here. Host was very nice and provided lots of good suggestions. She lives on-site.

Cons: Payment is cash only. Not specified on Booking.com. Bedrooms are a bit tight making it hard to get out of bed for the person who is up against the wall. There were no paper towels, napkins, etc. We like to cook breakfast and had to go to the supermarket to buy everything (including basics like salt and pepper).. Overall the kitchen necessities could be better. But we made it work.
