Pros: Lily the hostess was friendly and very helpful. She was good with communication via WhatsApp and in person. She even booked us an adventure tour with Xtremo and gave us a $5 discount too. It was an amazing experience!

Pros: Nice and helpful staff. Spacious room with a nice view. Relatively good value for money. Well equipped kitchen for those who want to cook.

Cons: A bit tricky to find. Messy looking yard.

Comfi stay with the lovely Lili

Pros: Lili was such a lovely and cheerful host. The room was comfi with a good shower and a great view

Pros: We stayed a few days and we really liked it. The host was super friendly and did organize us tours, got us discount, knew good English and we could easily extend the stay. We really felt comfortable and the apartment was really clean. The small kitchen was perfect to cook dinner. In the shower came hot water, which is exceptional for Costa Rica.

Cons: The door was a gap from which during the night cold comes in

Pros: We're really happy we stayed here. The apartment was in good condition, very clean, and stocked with kitchen utensils. The views from the room were great. The host was lovely and on hand to help with anything we needed. We liked the location, 5-10 minutes walk from the centre of Santa Elena.

Nice appartment near Monteverde center

Pros: Very cozy appartment, we felt comfortable there. The host was very friendly and the communication was easy.

A great spot to stay!

Pros: The apartment was very clean and I felt at home here. The kitchen was great and the bathroom was also very nice. I would definitely recommend this piece. I am a solo female traveller.

Cons: The only thing I didn't like was that the was there was quite dark at night. I felt completely safe but it you are travelling alone and are a little nervous, then you might feel a little on edge. I didn't venture out once it got dark but I did arrive when it was dark and it was fine!

Peaceful hideaway in nature for an incredible value

Pros: This place is an incredible find and why I continue to use Booking for great stays and interesting experiences! The apartment is spotless with what appears to be a recently renovated bathroom, and has everything you need to prepare small meals. We only stayed a couple nights and did not cook, as there are a number of restaurants nearby. The location is INCREDIBLE. This is less than a 10-minute walk to the main village of Santa Elena/restaurants/grocery store but just away enough to be totally tranquil. The main reserves, tours, etc are a 15-minute drive away or less. It also felt very safe. We watched birds, horses, all kinds of amazing things from the balcony. What a romantic little place! Siary is a super-responsive host who made self check-in and check-out very easy. I cannot BELIEVE the value for the money!! If this is available and you are traveling as a couple, do not hesitate to book!

Pros: The apartment was clean and sunny. There is a small but very well equipped kitchen - great for someone who wants to cook, good knives. Nice view from the window - on the horizon you can see Arenal lake. There is a little outdoor area to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee. Comfortable bed. Very good location - just 5 minutes walk from shops, but quiet at night. We really enjoyed our stay, would stay again!
