Easy going pit stop accommodation. The price could have been a little bit lower for the quality of the building, however
Pros: It was quiet, and easy going. Nice to have a private kitchen facility and everything was in working order. Nice views!
Cons: The walls are thin. But apart from that everything else was fine.

Perfect location for our first stop off (three nights)
Pros: Super location - easy to get to Manuel Antonio, uvita and restraints in quepos - friendly hostess, loads of wildlife to watch from the balcony (toucans, monkeys, squirrels etc), fab view - ocean view room 6. Room was very clean with air conditioning and fans, much needed in quepos! A lot of people mention the drive/ track up to the hotel, it's absolutely fine in a 4x4 and probably a normal car if not rainy season.
Cons: Door lock was a little hit and miss trying to open. No one cleaned the room during our stay. It may have been because they were expecting a tip throughout the stay whereas we tend to tip at the end - which we still did as they fixed the loo for us with no bother and quickly.

Lots of animals!
Pros: Liked: the view! We saw lots of animals (toucans, macaws, squirrel monkeys, humming birds and tonnes of other small birds). We also liked the beds, they were comfortable. The balcony was great.
Cons: We didn’t like: the AC wasn’t working (the big standing fans were okay). The curtain for the window in the bathroom was small so there was a lack of privacy. There was nowhere to hang the wet clothes/bathing suits to dry. There was also construction going on, which wasn’t ideal.

Comfortable apartment with a great view
Pros: Great view with a nice balcony overlooking the ocean and hills, lots of birds in the trees. Good location to use as a base for a few days to explore the local area. Good sized comfortable apartment but a little dated and in need of a bit of tlc. Reasonable value with 30% discount but would have been a bit pricey otherwise.
Cons: Water in kitchen and en-suite was only just warm not hot. Workmen were on site right next to the apartment in the evening, did eventually stop after contacting the host. Could hear other guests through walls. The driveway is steep and rugged and very dark, but this is not unusual for Costa Rica. The apartment is a little dated but with a bi

Pros: If you get up early, you can see parrots every day. We even saw a group of monkeys, among other animals of course. Breakfast on the balcony feels like something out of a movie. The road to the accommodation is tricky, so a 4x4 is highly recommended!
Cons: The door and lock to our apartment felt very flimsy, one stronger push and the door would have been open.

Pros: Amazing place, we're so glad to have stayed here. The views from the balcony were lovely, and it was a real treat to sit out there and watch the wildlife the morning and sunset. Communication with the owners was good before and during our stay. The room was spacious with good AC, and the apartment also had a well equipped kitchen. We really liked the quiet location just outside the town. Without a car it required a 10 minute walk up a hill - but completely worth it.

An apartment with an ocean view
Pros: Great location with a beautiful view. The room was big and clean, with private bathroom and a small kitchen. There was also an aircondition in the room. The staff was very friendly. It has a big private parking space. Location very close to Manuel Antonio National Park.

Comfortable and clean but not very easily accessible
Pros: The property was clean, the view was beautiful and the staff were very helpful. I saw monkeys and iguanas from the balcony.
Cons: The location. It is up a very steep hill, which of course you can walk up and down but it is not the easiest without a car. It is about 4-5 USD to get a taxi from town.
