Sueños de Amor! Hermoso y Acogedor lugar

Pros: The apartment is large and well decorated with a lovely garden (monkeys sometimes included).

Cons: Without a car it is a bit remote from the market, restaurants and activities. Taxis are not inexpensive.

Spacious apartment for visiting Manuel Antonio national park

Pros: Very handy for Manuel Antonio national park. Spacious apartment with outdoor space where you can see several birds including Toucans.

Cons: What put us off the apartment are 2 things: 1) first thing you see when you walk in the door is an envelope requesting a cleaning tip 2) too many warnings around the apartment and via messaging warning us that if we broke something we would be charged for it... Did not make us feel very welcome at all. Overall apartment is as you see it in the pictures, was fine for our family of four.

Lovely house - difficult to find

Pros: Spacious, well equipped, spotlessly clean. Lovely outside patio and gardens. Close to Manuel Antonio national park and lots of nice restaurants - one within walking distance - Cerdo Feliz. Great to have a washing machine and coffee

Cons: Given the number of reviews that say the property is not easy to find, the owner could give better directions. Suenos de amor is on Google maps but directions still not that clear. You pass cerdo Feliz and mountain top park on your left. When you get to glamping on your left , go straight on and take a sharp right up a steep hill. There is a sign with Colina monito on it and the name of 4 houses (Suenos de amor is not named) . The house is further up the hill on the right. We are not keen for workmen to enter the house when we are not there and without our permission

Top notch apartment

Pros: The apartment was really perfect for us and very well appointed. We make great use of the washer and dryer! Grounds of the place were great to walk around and bird watch. It's out of town so you need a car.

Great quality spacious apartment in quiet location

Pros: Well constructed apartment in quiet location- very spacious with impressive fully equipped kitchen, and laundry room.

Secluded villa for visiting Manuel Antonio without the busy vibes of other tourist areas nearby

Pros: We liked that the house had thick walls and was in a super quiet location, so we were not affected by any outside noise, and it also had mosquito nets on the windows so that we could open the windows and air the apartment with no worries of bugs getting in. The property is surrounded by greenery and is very close to one side of the national park, meaning we had the chance to see loads of monkeys in the trees next to the house, and even an armadillo in the garden. The apartment was very spacious and had everything we needed for our stay - the addition of the washing machine was a big positive for us. The accommodation is in a more remote location but is still only 10 mins drive from MA national park, and is a very short drive away from lots of places to eat and drink. The hosts were also super helpful via WhatsApp, and gave us a great dinner recommendation for the Restaurant Cerdo Feliz.

Cons: We could tell that the mattress had been very well used and in places was very uncomfortable (in our opinion it could be replaced). We could also tell that the AC in the living room was not working as well as the unit in the bedroom, which made cooling down the main living space quite tricky. Finally, the apartment was quite dark, given the tall trees in the surroundings, but this is a small sacrifice for being so close to nature.

Pros: It was nice to arrive to this peaceful and quiet place. I’m a light sleeper so this place is definitely recommended. The host was responsive and helped with all the questions. It is beautiful to see the garden, all the animals that come to visit. Definitely recommended!

Just book it - it’s perfect

Pros: We felt like staying at our friends. It’s a big space with really everything you might need. Like in all Costa Rica, it is recommended to have a car, but if you like walking, you will mange - we did, our friendly taxi driver was driving us around. It’s 15 minutes drive to the Manuel Antonio park and 20 minutes walk to great restaurants. Surrounding area is so beautiful, very well kept garden and different animals. Great shower, living room, comfy bed, fast WiFi, Netflix

Pros: We had a perfect time. The house is very complete and clean. The owners are very kind and willing to help you with everything. The garden is beautifull. We highly recommend this place!

A hidden gem

Pros: Good size apartment with everything you need. Laundry room well equipped. Very comfy sofa! The owner is lovely and very helpful.

Cons: A bit difficult to find but it turned out to be a plus as the property grounds are huge and lots of animals can be spotted (monkeys, toucans,...). Extra light/lamp will be helpful.
