Pros: Terrace with a beautiful view is a bonus. The apartment has a bathroom and a separate toilet, two good sized bedrooms and kitchen/ dining area. Ir is up hill in a quiet area. There are good restaurants and minimarket very close to the apartment.

Nice complex near Manuel antonio park
Pros: Very nice hotel complex, based on several apartments with a common balcony. The rooms were clean and big, with good A/C in the rooms and a usuful kitchen. David the host is very nice and also saved us a parking spot! Close to supermarket and good restaurants, 10 min drive to manuel antonio park. This hotel has great potential if only they put a little more affort into it-see below.
Cons: Small details that can make a huge improvment: - Missing A/C unit in the living room & kitchen (which is also where the 4th bed is) - Burned out/ missing bulbs all over the apartment making it dark. - no kettle in the kithen. -no shampoo. - there should be clear marking on the steps inside the rooms. - missing battery in the A/C remote

Pros: extremely spacious apartment, nice terrace with a view of a forest. Prepayment with credit card was also an option so we did not ned any cash.
Cons: It is a bit far to the nearest beach, however you can reach national park and its nearby beach quickly by bus. Also the equipment is a bit dated, and it would be nice if there were some things such as oil, salt and pepper already supplied in the kitchen. Also there is no warm water in the showers...

Pros: great hosts, good location, spacious apartment, very good value for money.
Cons: kitchen could have had the basics to make it easier - e.g., sponge to wash dishes, dishwasher liquid.. maybe even coffee filters, salt. also the lights were weak but overall not a problem.

Paradise place
Pros: Very spacious 2 bedroom appartment with high ceilings, small kitchen and beautiful balcony looking towards green mountain. Close to the city center, quiet and with opportunity to see many birds (we saw red parrots and toucans just from our balcony). We loved our stay so we booked for additional 2 night. We had no car but connection was great with the local bus (every 15 min to the beach or Quepos town). Highly recommended and it looks even better than in pictures!

Not a luxury hotel but comfortable
Pros: nice big terrace with outdoor shower before I get into my room to take the sand off. convenient location, near the main road to pick up buses. staff was quick to respond to the WhatsApp message and any issues were dealt with.
Cons: when I arrived, I needed to use my mobile data to call the staff to get in as it was locked and didn't get response by pressing the buzzer. Thankfully, I had bought local SIM. If I didn't, it would have been very expensive, roaming with UK SIM. It looks the place has past the former glory. I could see the remain of a better past in decor etc. From the name and description of booking.com, I had expected more up market hotel. 24 hours reception was on WhatsApp. While I always washed off sands and took my footwear off before entering my apartment, previous people might not have done so. There were lots of sands on the floor which have not been cleared and stuck on my feet.

Beyond amazing!
Pros: The property and host were both Amazing!! Davide went above and beyond with kindness and hospitality and we couldn't have imagined a better stay! Truly exceptional all around and the suites are gorgeous! The most beautiful place we have stayed in Costa Rica - thanks for everything!!

Spacious, modern rooms, better than the photos!
Pros: Big suite with lots of natural light and air conditioning in both bedrooms. Two bathrooms, one with a shower w/ HOT water. There's also a huge common covered area with pool and foosball tables right outside the room with a great view. The best part of our stay, however, was our host, David, who found us a tour with a great guide to Manuel Antonio National Park at the last-minute when the park tickets were sold out. David was super kind and professional and didn't push us to purchase anything.
Cons: Tip: Make sure you buy your tickets to Manuel Antonio in advance! (This is no fault of the property.)

Great value for a private room
Pros: The economic room was perfect as a solo traveller and digital nomad I had access to high speed internet and a comfortable place to work.
Cons: The only downside there was no coffee maker or fridge on-site and nowhere to buy coffee nearby early in the morning as restaurants nearby didn’t open til a bit later.
