Villa Girasol

Pros: The farm is a unique place run entirely by a lovely family. All the food is grown on the farm and is organic. Lovely home cooked food at every meal and plenty of it. We had a tour of the farm by the lovely owner Gabriel which was really interesting and full of information. Great cabin overlooking the rapids, heaven.

Pros: Incredible view and very nice host family. Great tour of their farm and good local food for breakfast and dinner.

Pros: Wonderful welcome from Aaron. Full of local knowledge. He arranged everything for us. Views from apartment were spectacular. We just loved looking at the birds and monkeys.

Exceptionnel séjour dans cette ferme, tenue par une famille aux petits soins très sympa !

Pros: Magnifique séjour au sein de la Villa Girasol situé à la ferme. Une vue exceptionnelle sur le Sarapiquí. Propriétaire et famille très sympathique qui nous ont fait visiter leur propriété, plantations de cacao, poivre, ananas, café … une des meilleures expériences de notre séjour. Déjeuner au top !

Une vue magnifique

Pros: Rarement vu une vue pareille de ce logement, situé au dessus du Rio Sarapiqui, qui berce la nuit. Le petit déjeuner est excellent et la famille adorable.

Cons: L’odeur d’égout permanente et le logement mériterait une porte fermant complètement, pour éviter les petites bêtes.

Familiärer Aufenthalt mit Mega-Ausblick

Pros: Der Ausblick ist der Hammer. Tolle Gastgeber. Sehr familiär. Die mit Beton verkleideten Stahlträger sind ein echtes Kunstwerk.

Cons: Leider hat es aus den Abflüssen etwas gerochen. Es fehlt der Geruchsverschluss.

Pros: Beautiful view and very special location. Rustic, comfortable accommodations. Gabriel and Irene are excellent hosts and provide anything you may need. The food was farm fresh and absolutely delicious. We had the opportunity to swim in the river which was a beautiful experience. We would love to return someday.

Cons: Everything was great.

This farm stay will feel like the best part of your trip - I promise you!

Pros: We stayed here for 3 nights and wish we had stayed longer! It was the perfect location, a great family to welcome you and to offer recommendations for the area. Each morning we woke up to the sunrise over the river view and got to see tons of wildlife just in our backyard, making our lodging equally part of our experience here in Costa Rica. The room is clean, private and beautifully designed - built into the hillside of their property and offers air conditioning, a fridge and a hot pan to cook simple things on. Gabriel and Irene are wonderful hosts of their organic farm and lovely people to share conversations. We sang and played guitar after dinner one night with their family. We highly recommend visiting them and staying (for longer than we did!).

Le paradis c est ici !!!

Pros: Tout, absolument tout. Le décor dès l arrivée, la gentillesse de nos hôtes, le repas du soir avec leurs enfants, la visite du domaine. C est un lieu paradisiaque qui pour nous sera le symbole de notre voyage et l idée que nous nous faisions du costa rica. Allez-y ou vous le regretterez.

Cons: Rien tout était merveilleux.
