Highly recommended place to stay

Pros: Peaceful, beautiful, exceptional place to stay , very clean , cozy and comfortable to stay. Anne and her family are very helpful, kind and very nice and welcoming , thank you for having us . Highly recommended place to stay.

Pros: If you are looking for quiet, close to the nature place, this is a great choice for you. The cottages are comfortable, beautifully constructed and fully equipped. Great, clean swimming pool. Very tasty breakfast. Nice owners with the mission to rescue the forest and biodiversity is amazing and we entirely support it!

Cons: The road to finca is really challenging. I assume it would be expensive to improve the road, but those who are going there need to be aware its difficult even with 4x4 car.

Magical - a great finish to our latest Costa Rican holiday!

Pros: This was so worth going out of our way for - it is a magical property built with love, set in a magical setting with stunning views, great nature, great walks and efficient, helpful and kind hosts. This whole venture is clearly a huge labour of love built on great values and it shows with everything they do and provide - including completely fresh milk daily from the ‘nearest cow’ at breakfast!

Cons: Nothing - although a 4WD is pretty essential for the last kilometre, they can also pick up you up from the finca gate/entrance, if necessary. Also worth bringing some of own provisions for the shared kitchen as the nearest restaurants are about 15mins drive away.

Excellent would recommend to everyone!

A most peaceful and beautiful place

Pros: The place is a must for a romantic stay close to the jungle. Everything is build with a perfect sense of aesthetics, the small wooden bungalows are absolutely cute and beautiful, but also comfortable. Nice bathroom and shower, comfortable bed, a sea view from the balcony, rocking chairs to spend cool time. The surroundings offer nice walks with astounding views on the countryside and the sea. The people are lovely French expats with a true taste for making the experience really exceptional. We wish them good luck with their enterprise.

Cons: It is not that we did not like, but neither Google maps nor Waze indicate the correct path to the Finca del Colibri ! Therefore, read carefully the description sent by the owner to find the way. The small but perfectly passable road to the property starts close to the Cabo Blanco village school and winds up through La Esperanza, a tiny but lovely village, with a micro school and church.

Stunning views, very clean and eco-friendly! We wish them all the best!

Pros: We didn't really know what to expect - they have done an amazing job here! Quite hard to get to up the track, but worth it for the views at the top. Very, very friendly and accommodating... we spoke a mixture of French and English!

Cons: Maybe a map to show where they are, or where the nearest restaurants are... their directions were excellent though!

Pros: L’emplacement est magnifique. Accueil chaleureux, recommandations locales et excellent petit déjeuner

Cons: L’accès se fait par une piste très pentue et abîmée, mais nous avions été avisés par la propriétaire qui nous avait même proposé de venir nous chercher.

Pros: Wow ! Quel endroit exceptionnel, calme et en pleine nature !! Les hôtes sont vraiment sympathiques et aidant. La vue est magnifique, les chambres sont luxueuses et il y a une très belle piscine. Cet endroit est un de nos plus beau coup de coeur de notre séjour au Costa Rica !

Pros: Mega Aussicht, tolles Frühstück…. Und sehr nette Gastgeberin.
