The Babylon Suite Tortuguero

Great apartment in the centre of the village. Recommend!

Pros: Location was great - right in the middle of Tortuguero village. Close to places to eat and all the tours. It was clean and comfortable. Air conditioning was brilliant. Carmen the host was fabulous - great communication throughout and organised all our tours for us.

Cons: The shower wasn’t amazing and would have been nice to have an outdoor space.

A very restful stay in a huge suite with food and the beach closeby.

Pros: I never guessed from the listing that a half basketball court plus bleachers would have fit in this space. The big bathtub by the windows was also an unexpected treat. The suite is all white and was immaculately clean and comfortable. The boat dropped us off and picked us up literally feet from the front steps.

Cons: I thought that a hotel would have better amenities, but The Patio, and Buddha restaurants were closeby and inviting and the food was good at both. The drinks at Buddha were beyond excellent.

Pros: Riverview Kayak tour with Arturo is highly recommended!

Wonderful location in the heart of the town, the view was amazing down the river

Pros: The breakfast was in a cafe opposite, easy to find and a simple breakfast was included in the price of the apartment.

Cons: The apartment is over a builders merchant and it could be noisy at times, but it didnt really bother us.

An excellent apartment overlooking the river

Pros: It was a very modern, spacious and comfortable apartment overlooking the river. The location was very good for trips. Breakfast was included although Booking.com had said that it wasn't.

Cons: Where we had to go to collect the key could have been better explained

Fantastic space

Pros: Huge very cool room, but maybe not the most practical. Very nice view. Breakfast was great (limited choice, but great quality)

Cons: The towels were full of stains and we only got 1 hand towel. There was nowhere to hang the towels. The dining table had not been cleaned. All these things would be ok, if the price per night was less.

Ultra friendly staff and amazing views!

Pros: The big big plus of this place is the ultra friendly and helpful staff, really 10/10! The biggest room in Tortuguero, very close to the activities and to the main dock. Very cool views over the canal.

Exeptional higher-end quality aparment in Tortuguero with view to the Canal

Pros: Everything was perfect. We were well taken care of from the moment, we arrived to La Pavona, as the boat company knew about our arrival and had our names. The accomodation even arranged our transfer to Cahuita (boat and taxi), which worked out well. The apartment exeeded every expectation. Huge open space, wonderful views to Tortuguero canal with sliding doors/windows to let the outside atmosphere in. The whole space was very clean, warm shower, safe, garderobe for clothes, dining an writing table, full sized fridge, double airconditioning, and even a bathtube with view. The bed was very comfortable, the linen was good quality. In town everything was in walking distance, and the whole area was astonishing. If we ever return to Costa Rica, we would definitely stay here again.

We absolutely loved it!

Pros: The apartment is absolutely beautiful with an amazing view of the water. Everything was very clean and the design of the whole place is just great! The staff was extremely nice and helpful as well. They even helped us to organize a private shuttle as we were too late for the public boats to Tortuguerro. We definitely recommend staying here, such a beautiful location!

Cons: It gets a little loud in the rain, so we recommend bringing earplugs if you are a light sleeper. The water pressure in the shower is a bit low. But none of these would be a reason for us not to come here again!
