Pros: Really helpful host, it's really a camping experience so it's not for everyone however I enjoyed it a lot

Pros: We had a wonderful stay at Ballena Oasis Homes & Glamping. The cabins were beautiful, clean, and cozy. The garden was breathtaking, full of stunning flowers and wildlife, which made the atmosphere truly special. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed, and the location was perfect — all the main attractions were within walking distance. We would happily stay here again and definitely recommend it! 🌺

Cons: The only small downside was the number of mosquitoes, but that’s natural in such a lush tropical setting.

Beautiful

Pros: We stayed in the little A-frame cabins and loved it! It’s leafy and filled with tropical flowers. There’s a big shared kitchen area and a fan in the cabins. The people who run it are really nice, they even let us check in a bit early :) great location, we walked everywhere.

Pros: We saw many macaws just in the garden! 🤩 Great locality, nice staff but little bit smelly in our room.

Amazing hosts and property

Pros: Jorge was amazing, so helpfully. The whole property was beautifully so my birds around the place. Every thing was clean. Had a lovely laid back feel.

An outdoor hostel

Pros: Cute little A frames with beautiful garden space all around. I liked that it was in a residential area. It was nicely set up to give opportunity to meet other guests and also enjoy some privacy

Cons: Its too far from the beach for me. The staff were not really around except to give me a key and then accept payment. Their house was high security right next to the low security a-frames. Limited payment options.

Pros: The staff were lovely and the information booklet was very informative.. The grounds of the huts were very nice and sitting on the balcony we saw Macaws. There was a really nice bakery around the corner and a decently priced shop. Not far from the national park.

Cons: I was cold at night as there was just a sheet to cover ourselves and I couldn't get comfortable. There was a coffee machine but no coffee. There were a couple of cockroaches in the room but it was glamping so was to be expected.

Pros: Simple and small rooms, but clean and comfortable.

Pros: One of the best places we stayed in Costa Rica, and for a very reasonable price. Everything was clean, with hot water available. The host family was super nice — the young owner was very kind and always around whenever we needed help. You can observe many kinds of birds on their property; almost every day a pair of large red guacamayo parrots came to have their snack in the big tree at the entrance. We truly felt at home. Highly recommended!
