Eco-Bamboo Cottages

Pros: Perfect location. Not in the city center and all around is nature, you can just go out and walk. Stunning view from all the windows in the room. Large and luxurious apartment, bedroom in one room and living room and kitchen in the second room. Everything is beautiful wood. They also have a travel agency so we booked everything through them and it was very convenient. Ronland helped us with everything we needed. Including things unrelated to what we booked through him. You can eat local food at their place.

Cons: Because it's on the edge of town, the way back there is about fifteen minutes and part of the way is dark. Maybe if you're traveling alone it's less pleasant.

Pros: Beautiful cottage in the outskirts of Turrialba. Very kind owner. We visited Turrialba for rafting on the Pacuare River and a coffee tour. Both were provided by Explornatura which is located next door and is of the same owner so it was easy and comfortable to arrange things.

Pros: The fact that everything in the house was made of bamboo. If you arrive you will have a wow-experience. shower and beds are good, balcony is nice

Cons: the quality of the street towards the house is very bad. Just drive slowly

Paraíso en Turrialba!

Pros: Todo! Comodidad, instalaciones, cocina equipada, limpieza y atención!

Cons: Tal vez por la lluvia en nuestro caso, pero el camino de acceso resulta un poco complicado.

Pros: La propreté des lieux avec sa petite forêt derrière dans laquelle se trouvent 4 petites chutes.

Cons: L'absence des propriétaires, toutes les communications par booking depuis san jose. Les chiens du voisin qui aboient toute la nuit sous les fenêtres .

Pros: Sehr schön gelegen am Rande zum Dschungel. Schöner Blick ins Tal. Wer dort Wandern möchte kann hinter dem Haus einen schönen Pfad zum Wassrfall laufen.

Hidden Gem in the Jungle :-)

Pros: - Lage direkt am Urwald (privat) - super hilfreicher Gastgeber: hat immer sofort geantwortet; konnten erst spät anreisen, war trotzdem kein Problem; hat für uns noch sehr kurzfristig eine geniale canopy Tour organisiert, direkt im angrenzenden Urwald — sehr zu empfehlen und unbedingt einplanen! - die Hütte an sich (Holz und Bambus), genug Platz

Cons: - nicht genug Möglichkeiten Sachen aufzuhängen, insbesondere die nassen Sachen… alleine ein paar Nägel an der Wand würden schon sehr viel helfen - wifi Empfang (war im Nachbarhaus und zu schwaches Signal bei uns)
