A stunning house and unique experience

Pros: Right from the start, we felt incredibly welcomed by our hosts Kevin and Luis. We stayed 4 nights for our honeymoon and everything was exceptional. The house is beautiful and includes everything you could possibly need for your break. We especially loved the private pool and coffee bar! During our stay, Kevin was contactable for anything we needed, and he shared lots of useful recommendations of restaurants, beaches and excursions in the area. Kevin & Luis also invited us to join them for any group activities hosted on site. I’m looking forward to seeing how the events space develops in the future, we would love to return one day! We read the information about needing a 4x4 vehicle before booking so this wasn’t an issue for us, but make sure you have one to be able to access the house as it’s a very steep hill.

Pros: Absolutely unforgettable experience! The property offers breathtaking panoramic views of the ocean and mountains… you could easily spend hours just admiring the scenery. It’s a truly unique, peaceful, almost magical place… perfect for fully disconnecting. The accommodations are impeccable, a perfect blend of comfort, elegance, and subtle luxury. Every detail is thoughtfully considered so you feel relaxed and cared for from start to finish. A special mention goes to Kevin and Luis, who are outstanding hosts. Their warm welcome, availability, and constant attention truly elevate the experience. You can feel that everything they do comes from the heart. A place we truly fell in love with!!!

Pros: We spent only three nights at the Casa Kura. We say “only” because from the moment we settled in the amazing vila we couldn’t stop thinking about extending our stay…. The amazing location with the most beautiful view, the well designed vila and the warm hospitality made it into the highlight of the location we stayed at during our visit to Costa Rica (and we stayed at some great places). The vila was designed, built, and equipped at the highest standards, but more than that - we got the feeling that when working on it Kevin and Luis did it as if they were building their own dream home. The warm welcome, the fruits awaiting us, the nice gesture for Einat’s birthday- all made us feel at home. We traveled quite a lot around the world and few comfortable saying - if you are going to Manuel Antonio and want to stay at the best place in the area contact Kevin and take this great place before somebody else will…

Pros: Our stay at Altaar in Manuel Antonio was absolutely incredible. The property is stunning; peaceful, beautifully designed, and perfectly situated to enjoy everything Manuel Antonio has to offer. Waking up surrounded by nature truly made this stay special and unforgettable. Kevin and Luis were exceptional hosts; warm, responsive, and incredibly attentive from the moment we booked through checkout. They made sure we had everything we needed and shared helpful recommendations that enhanced our experience. Their hospitality truly set this place apart. The space itself was spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully curated, creating the perfect balance of luxury and relaxation. Altaar felt like a true sanctuary after full days of exploring beaches, wildlife, and the national park. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and would absolutely return. Highly recommend Altaar to anyone visiting Manuel Antonio. You won’t be disappointed!
