Pros: The place is well situated with a nice outdoor area. Easy walk to town. Beds were comfy with great AC in 2 rooms. Host was responsive and had great advice on the area when we inquired. I world highly recommend this stay! Better than the photos.

Cons: 3rd bedroom with the 2 beds had no AC and feels more like a garage ad on. We were 3 woman and the one in that room felt scared as the noise of the area can be loud. Dogs barking, cat fights, and lively neighbors on the weekends. We pulled her mattress into living room.

Absolutely, if you want to experience 'local' life in a vwry nice, safe, comfortble way, stay here.

Pros: We had 7 people in this relatively small space... the space handled our family wonderfully... very comfortable... lovely local neighborhood with handy cafes, small grocery stores and within walking distance to La Fortuna.

Cons: The youn Tico and his 2-stroke motor ike tha he kept driving atound loudly at all hours... like a lawnmower, only worse.
