Villa JADE

A great place to stay

Pros: The villa was very spacious and the outside areas were great. The pool was lovely to cool down in. The town is about a 15-20 minute walk away and there is a supermarket 5 minutes walk away.

Cons: There are some dogs, both stray and domestic, around the area and they do bark creating noise. However there does seem to be someone who does stop them barking by 10pm at night.

Lovely oasis in a peaceful (apart from cockerels) location with lots of birdlife.

Pros: Beautiful gardens. Nice quiet residential area which is what we wanted as we don't mind walking to town and the supermarket is only 1minute walk along with a soda and a fast food restaurant with a bakery/cafe about 8 minutes walk. Lots of space in living rooms and bedrooms with good beds. We loved sitting on the front terrace watching the birds.

Cons: We've let the owners know the downsides so hopefully they will be providing more facilities by the time anyone else visits but they weren't enough to ruin our enjoyment and most related to there not being enough seating, cutlery etc. for 4 people. The main issue we had was there being only one garden chair so one of us had to sit on a dining chair which isn't very relaxing(the hammock in the photos is no longer there). We wouldn't recommend the Chinese takeaway- bland and way too much food. We only had medio portions and both could have fed 2-3 people so there was a lot of waste.

Pros: We picked casa Jade as a last minute choice because our b&b cancelled when we were already at la fortuna. very skeptical because it only had 2 reviews, turn out to be an AMAZING appartment, extremely clean, with nice induction kitchen, just 7min walking to the main centre. has a lovely front and back garden, with seats and an hammock. STRONGLY RECOMMENDED

No faltaba detalle.

Pros: Wunderschönes Häuschen in guter Lage.
