Cabañas Hoja Verde

Very special stay with incredible views

Pros: The view from the balcony was just amazing - even better than in the pictures. Sitting in the jacuzzi in the mornings and evenings felt very special. The location was great - close enough to restaurants and shops but tucked away in the jungle to feel immersed in nature.

Cons: Nothing!

amazing stay

Pros: Cananas Hoja Verde is an absolute gem ! it was the best place we stayed in Costa Rica .We absolutely loved everything about it - the location , how cozy it was . the fare place and hot tab made it extra special !

Cons: nothing, it was perfect

Pros: Great location just a 20 minute walk to the centre of Santa Elena. Comfortable cabin, quiet and secure with a lovely balcony and hot tub giving views out over the forest.

Cons: Would have appreciated more pots/pans etc in the kitchen. We found the lodge difficult to find using the map provided by the b&b at check in.

Peaceful cabin in lovely setting

Pros: Such a gorgeous cabin! Very peaceful and nicely furnished. Comfy beds, lovely seating area on balcony. Good shower. Staff very helpful and friendly.

Cons: Nothing!

Great house and jacuzzi with a super view!

Pros: Everything was great but the jacuzzi made it perfect! Enough towels and a comfy bed made our stay wonderful. Locatiom is super quiet and very close to the center of Monteverde. The pictures on Booking are ok, but the real think is better, Therefore I added some drone-shots 😉

Cons: The lights inside could be more “warm” and cosy instead of bright white 💡 Outside it’s great by the way.

Amazing lodge with beautiful hot tub and lovely view

Pros: Everything! Although the real winner was the outside area…hot tub was great, it was set into the decking so easy to get in and out, great view and very comfortable day bed outside. The kitchen was fully stocked with it utensils so we were able to cook a meal to fully enjoy our evening in the accommodation.

Cons: Would have been easier to have self check in that go to the hotel in town.

Wonderful cosy place

Pros: Exceptional! The jacuzzi is amazing, the room is fully equipped and the view is beautiful.

Cons: A little bit far away from the city centre but totally worth it

We loved our stay. It was very beautiful.

Pros: A beautiful cabin. The location was amazing and the outside space made our stay very enjoyable. The hot tub and sitting area are very special. Great communication. It was easy to collect the key. We only had to drive a few minutes up the road to get to our activities. We enjoyed a meal at the rainforest restaurant.

Cons: We liked everything (if we were being really picky, it would have been good to have a toaster 😊).

Super cozy, clean, quiet (except of wildlife) place

Pros: Wow wow wow - everything! and just across the nighttour entrance

Cons: Check in was a little chaotic and took quite some time

Pros: The whirpool was excellent. A quiet location too. I think that here we saw most wild animals during all our trip. We were lucky enough to spot a sloth the first night, monkeys in the nearby forrest, coati and many birds.

Cons: It is quite small, not secluded as seems on pictures and quality of furnishing not great
