Cozy and well equipped house in remote location

Pros: Excellent accomodation with really comfortable beds. We had some trouble finding it, but the communication with the owner was helpful and fast, so that the small hickup was resolved within minutes. The check-in was then uncomplicated with a key box and code, and the payment was easily done digitally. Perfect! The house itself is cozy and well equipped, very private with ample parking space. We can´t say much more as we only stayed one night.

Cons: The road was unexpectedly steep and not in the very best condition, but as that is not the owner´s fault, I do not lower the ratings. Arriving with an appropriate car is recommended.

Cosy, good value for money house with friendly owners.

Pros: We stayed here for a night in July and could happily have stayed longer. It’s a cosy little house set in the valley side above a beautiful river that you can hear rushing over the rocks below. We thought it was good value for money especially compared to other accommodation within the valley. The owners family also have a restaurant a short way down the road which serves trout from their ponds and also does an amazing breakfast which we enjoyed while there. They are lovely people and let my son catch a fish in their pond which he loved doing. The outside space is nice and you can see lots of hummingbirds in the trees and shrubs. We would recommend this place.

Cons: Nothing - we only struggled to locate the exact house upon arrival but were soon pointed in the right direction.

Pros: Bed was very comfortable and we appreciated the extra blankets. We only stayed one night but we would have stay longer if we had time. Paola and her brother are really friendly and easy to communicate with

Pros: An absolutely lovely home. So comfortable. Had everything we could have wanted and a lovely welcome basket. Lovely hosts. The location was beautiful and so peaceful.

Pros: Super nice people, very accommodating. They have a nice restaurant too with very modest prices, where they serve fresh caught trout from their own ponds.

Pros: Wonderwel location in the vallen of San Gerardo de zdota. The house is well equipes and has a nice view of the busjes attracties lots of hummingbirds.

Great stay, especially for a family or small group.

Pros: Location is great. Easy parking. Hummingbirds in the front garden. Full kitchen was great to have, and the house is quite sizeable.

san Gerardo da Dota ist ein wunderschönes Tal, unbedingt sehenswert

Pros: wir haben das Haus sehr sauber angefunden. Die Gastgeberin Paola hat uns perfekt informiert über Schlüssekasten und uns eine Birdwatchtour organisiert. Das Haus ist gemütlich mit gut ausgestatteter Küche und liegt sehr schön und ruhig. Auf dem Gelände gibt es einen tollen Aussichtspunkt. Das Doppelbett ist 140 cm und bequem, da es nachts richtig kalt wird braucht es mehrere Decken, die aber vorhanden sind. Bei der Dusche muss man wissen, dass man den Wasserknopf nur ca 1/3 aufmacht, dann wird das Wasser schön warm. Zum Schluss hat uns die Gastgeberfamilie noch ein Frühstück im nahen familien eigenen Restaurant spendiert, dort kann man auch prima essen.

A wonderful cottage and great coffee!

Pros: The house is very charming and welcoming. It is cool at night, but with the lovely blankets provided we slept very well. The kitchen is well equipped, and there was also an excellent local coffee available, which we really appreciated.

Cons: We had a bit of difficulty getting a hot shower due to the electric water heater system connected to the shower, but apart from this, the accommodation was truly wonderful.
