Wonderful location

Pros: Wonderful garden, with a lot of birds paying a visit. Beautiful private trail, where you can see coati, toucans and whitefaced monkeys.

Magical river and rainforest getaway with simple, home style appeal

Pros: I LOVED this private river access and hiking trail on the property, if you like a little adventure, this is the place for you. Simple but comfortable and sweet.

Cons: I wasn’t feeling well during my stay and wanted to rest more, I thought the breakfast service finished very early, luckily friends I was with managed to show up and order my food etc.

Pros: Clean and nice in the middle of trees. Staff very helpful. Good breakfast.

Cons: We didn,t have coffeemaker in room. No utensil in room.

Pros: Wooden houses spread sparsely across a large private area. Lots of greenery. Private walking path to a waterfall. On site free parking. Friendly staff. Good breakfasts. Comfortable bed. Free pool with warm water.

Cons: I couldn't get my clothes to dry :) it was too humid for that.

The nature lodge

Pros: Very nice place , very cute, the people who work there are very nice ! Completely in the nature, and the waterfalls are wow!! Plus Good food.

Cons: The shower ...horrible It had no water pressure, just a small trickle of water , very hard to shower and impossible to wash my hair .

Pros: Wonderful place, surrounded by nature, very spacious and clean cabin. Very kind staff, good breakfast. But the best thing about this stay are the hikes to the waterfall and river. Secluded and with an amazing reward at the end.

Cons: The shower almost didn't have any water coming out of it, but since we have a lot of time on holiday, it didn't really bother us :)

Lovely peaceful location near jungle and waterfall walk

Pros: Hosts were very friendly and helpful. Very peaceful setting if you want to be immersed in nature, with plenty of hummingbirds flitting in gardens. Substantial breakfast and evening meal (need to prebook) was tasty. Kettle in room was handy and warm shower. Easy drive to Bijagua and Tenorio Volcano Park and Rio Celeste. Shown frogs in garden at night and evening view of Tenorio from terrace.

Cons: More interior lighting would be helpful (bedside lamps). Little storage, but as only there for a couple of nights suitcases were fine.

Lovely secluded spot

Pros: Amazing gardens full of birds and flowers. Wonderful staff - super friendly, accommodating and helpful.

Nature lovers paradise

Pros: Gorgeous property; bird watchers dream (toucans!); very clean and well maintained; beautiful restaurant with great breakfast; hike to waterfall is fantastic with breathtaking swimming holes

Peaceful place, in the middle of the wild but close enough to the attractions

Pros: - The nature around the whole place; - close (by car) to the village and Parque Vulcan Tenório - good breakfast - attentive staff
