Great location for small group

Pros: The location is a nice house, 20 minutes from Santa Elena. We were traveling as a group of 6 (3 couples) and had the place to ourselves but believe there are one or two additional rooms. Aside from your private room with bathroom, you share a kitchen and sitting area. We spent our evenings have dinner, which we cooked in the shared kitchen, hanging around the dinner table and sitting area. It was really lovely. The location is super relaxed with very little traffic, some wild life to spot from the garden, but not completely off the grid. We had hot water in the shower, steady WIFI and even enough cell service to call our stay-at-homes. The host is very friendly and helpful.

Cons: Nothing. At this rate you can not expect Ritz Carlton luxury after all. It is very comfortable and great value for price. The drive over to the location is super nice. A 4x4 is good to have but not a requirement, you can do with a smaller car and park it on site. The location felt safe.

Un super endroit pour profiter de la nature

Pros: Nos hôtes ont été extrêmement gentils. Le logement est ouvert que depuis 3-4 mois donc tout est neuf. La cuisine partagée est vraiment pratique et permet de partager des moments conviviaux si on le souhaite. Il est aussi possible de manger dans la chambre qui est très spacieuse et équipée. L’emplacement est un peu isolé mais c’est ce que nous recherchions car cela permet d’être en pleine nature. Nous avons pu voir des toucans le matin dans les arbres de la propriété. Un 4x4 est nécessaire pour venir. Santa Helena n’est pas trop loin et à quelques minutes, il y a un supermarché. Nous avons réellement aimé notre séjour, un grand merci à nos hôtes !

Très bon rapport qualité/prix

Pros: Tout est correct, et l'espace commun est très sympa, et plus si vous voyagez en groupe. Très bon accueil.

Cons: C'est un coin où les routes ne sont pas bitumées, à prendre en compte pour les trajets, de préférence à faire de jour.

Pros: La atención de la familia que lo gestiona ha sido excepcional. Nos acogieron muy bien y nos mostraron las instalaciones con ilusión y orgullo. Todo estaba muy nuevo y bien equipado. Se ofrecía el acceso a una cocina compartida que estaba perfectamente equipada. Incluso con detalles como el café, el aceite o bananos a tu disposición. Aunque algo alejado de Santa Elena, la ubicación es muy tranquila y en plena naturaleza.

Cons: El acceso por carretera es un poco lento porque el terreno no está asfaltado y con la lluvia se hacía más complicado, pero no queda muy lejos de Santa Elena.

Great hosts and clean accommodations in beautiful location.

Pros: I liked the accommodations in the rooms and the hosts were so kind. There is a shared kitchen with basic necessities for cooking and each room has a small fridge. There’s also a beautiful patio area that’s great for morning coffee and watching the birds. The surrounding area is very peaceful and beautiful.

Peaceful quiet retreat into nature.

Pros: I loved the location. The Grand Luna is located in a very peaceful part of the mountains in Monteverde. The hosts are very hospitable and the rooms are spacious and comfortable with great amenities. Great artwork on some of the walls too!

Cons: The only thing I didn't like is that I couldn't stay longer.
