Hotel M&M Beach House

Brilliant location and value for money

Pros: The location of this place was exceptional, right on the beach, right near the town but quiet at night. The seating outside was a wonderful place to have breakfast and people watch. The staff were wonderful

Cons: The rooms were very clean and large, but pretty basic. There was no hot water for showers but a fresh shower felt good. The beds were not very comfortable as the pillows and mattress were quite hard.

Pleasantly Surprised by the Peace and Quiet

Pros: We read the reviews and were prepared to use earplugs, but instead we had a very quiet, peaceful sleep and heard nothing until we were pleasantly awakened by birdsongs. The room was simple yet super comfortable and cool. The young lady at reception was very warm and welcoming. Breakfast was tasty and fresh. We were very happy with our choice.

Cons: WiFi weak security and dropping every minute or so. The worst we’ve had in CR. We couldn’t use it.

Cons: Circulation of the air in the room, mostly to those that the windows hadown been sailed, was good,

A few steps from the ocean, a great Hotel.

Pros: Breakfast was really good and César, the chef was excellent, he served a delicious traditional Tico breakfast. He was very professional and at the same time friendly and attentive to anything you needed. Karina, guest services, did the check in fast and efficiently even though we came two hours early. She provided a lot of info regarding tourist activities.

Pros: Great location, nice and comfy room, good breakfast and lovely staff

Old school beach-side hotel

Pros: A great location right across the street from the beach, with restaurants just a couple of blocks away. The second floor verandah was a great place to hang out, with an amazing view of the beach. The included breakfast was good. An old school beach-side hotel with a travellers vibe.

Cons: The room and bathroom were small and a bit dingy for the price. A bit noisy from the beach and street traffic.

M&M is just a yummy place to stay

Pros: This smart little retro wooden hotel is in a wonderful position just off the great beach in a quiet part of town. The common areas were fantastic places to sit and relax, particularly watching the world and wildlife go by from the first floor veranda. Our deal included a delicious breakfast served by the friendly and efficient staff. The rooms only have cool rather than warm showers but that's often all you want in the heat

Cons: The ceiling and mobile fans weren't that effective in cooling the room and if you can't do without air conditioning then this place isn't for you

Great location with beach view and friendly staff

Pros: Great location, spotless clean room and good breakfast. Staff were really friendly & helpful.

Cons: It might be nice to have the option to make tea/coffee throughout the day not just at breakfast time. It’s a small detail but something many of the hotels we stayed at in Costa offered. That said we arrived late in the day for check in and the team had no problem providing hot water on request to make a cup of tea before bed. 😊

Convenient stay across from the beach with clean rooms, breakfast and WiFi.

Pros: The location was directly across from the beach and super close walking distance to all local shops & restaurants. The breakfast was really good and they had many options. The rooms were clean and came stocked with everything we could need. The WiFi was fast and we had no issues. The hotel even let us adjust our dates the day before due to an issue with flights. All around amazing stay
