Hotel El Paraiso Escondido - Costa Rica

We liked our stay in the hotel a lot. Watching macaw parrots from terrace was unforgettable experience

Pros: Beautiful beach, very comfortable room and bed, beautiful and clean bathroom. absolutely professional and helpful staff (Wendy at the reception helped us a lot with our problem). Good breakfast included.

Cons: Shallow and not very clean swimming pool. Food in restaurant could be better.

Pros: Good location walking distance to main street or to the beach. Friendly staff, they help us with laundry.

Cons: Hotel offers Tea/coffee maker and free toiletries. We didn’t have any Tea/coffee maker. Soap dispenser was empty. Some rooms are currently under renovation and there were a little bit noises from that.

A great place to stay in Jaco where you feel part of the community

Pros: The Pool AC bed security and helpfulness of the family running the place were all pluses. The property was easy walking distance to the beach, shops and restaurants

All in all a decent stay and very good for families!

Pros: Very nice pool area, they have even toys for children. The kids itchenette is small but well enough equipped to manage for a couple of days. Unfortunately we had some issues with water leakage in the bathroom but the staff was very nice and tried to fix it. At checkout day we could leave our car in the parking lot of the hotel while we spent some hours in town (and food in the fridge). We liked the location: From the hotel its about 10 minutes to town/the beach, small supermarket is very close. It is a very quiet place, while the town itself is pretty loud. It is a very kid-friendly place!

Cons: We missed a doormat at the entrance of the room to wipe wet feet before entering. Also what we didn’t like so much is that the staff went into the room with wet shoes when checking our water problem leaving shoe marks on the floor. Since we took off the shoes at the door we would find it polite that they took it off too. But honestly, that is just a minor complaint, all in all everything was pretty good!

Cons: Be prepared for some spiders inside the bathroom especially, but nothing impossible to deal with don't worry

Pros: Flexible about check in/out times and storing luggage. Very nice garden with chicken.

Pros: It was so peaceful and tranquility. The pool and grounds are delightful. The hosts and staff were so accommodating, kind, and helpful.

Cons: The location is a little bit off of the beaten track, but very accessible to all if you don't mind a bit of a walk, which I don't. The prices, two blocks away from the beach, are so much better than beachfront. And when it all comes down to the nitty gritty, I am happy paying a reasonable price in a beautiful tranquil abode with a private pool. Highly recommended, for solo people and families with young children!.\

Pros: The staff were super great. And I liked how it was not in the chaos of downtown Jaco. Nice neighborhood with a little store 1 minute away. Still super close to everything on the strip. The room was super cute and clean. AC and fridge worked great. The pool was clean and refreshing.

Cons: There were some dogs who barked at everything causing the rest of the dogs to go off in unison. Was not the owner's dog so can't really blame them. This is pretty normal in CR so being earplugs wherever you go.
