Gaia Collection Hotels Manuel Antonio

Gaia Hotels is a wonderful hotel, it was perfect for our time in Manuel Antonio.

Pros: The surrounding area is beautiful. We saw so many animals! Also the staff can’t do enough for you, they’re super friendly and you get a personal concierge. There’s also complimentary shuttles to Manuel Antonio and a Macaw conservation tour on site.

Cons: I think we were a little unlucky with our room (131). Although it was huge, clean and comfortable, there was very little sun light and no outside space so it was a shame we couldn’t experience the outside more.

September stay at Gaia Hotel and Reserve

Pros: The whole experience at Gaia was wonderful. We had our own concierge, which was great, as anything we needed, we could WhatsApp and our request would be done straight away. We were also lucky enough to have our room upgraded, which was a lovely surprise. The food was excellent, great breakfast options, which was included in our rate. The dinner menu was extensive, dishes were well presented and very tasty. All staff were wonderful and couldn't have been more helpful. The resort itself is basically in the forest and the wildlife around the hotel that we saw was amazing. Sloths, Scarlet Macaws, Toucans, Monkeys, many variety of birds, Iguanas, Lizards, Frogs and more.... Thank you to all at Gaia for making our trip amazing.

Pros: Excellent location. High standard room. Very clean and special. Charming and helpful staff. Very good restaurant. A hotel that also carries out activities to preserve nature in a professional and serious manner. The hotel assigned us a staff member, Gary, a courteous professional with an amazing sense of service and tourism. Gary accompanied us for another two or three weeks before arrival, offered us service, and was available for any questions and requests even during our stay.

Great place near the national park

Pros: I had a lovely stay at Gaia Collection! The highlight of the experience was definitely the staff – everyone was incredibly friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The food was another standout – every meal we had was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. While the hotel installations are showing some signs of age and could use a bit of updating, everything was clean and functional. Considering the service, food, and location, the price felt very fair. Overall, a great value for a relaxing stay in Manuel Antonio. Would definitely recommend!

Think no further! Beautiful stay!

Pros: The staff will go above and beyond to make you feel special. The guys driving the buggies are incredibly nice and they will show you sloths! You will have a dedicated member of staff answering all your queries. We had Pamela who was very prompt and sweet. There is a Macao’s rescue centre inside the property land and it is possible to visit it for free with a guide. The guide, Clarence, is SO good that we decided to go to Manuel Antonio park only because he was leading the visit. It really worth it! We booked one night and we extended one more night And finally, you can see sloths 🦥!

Cons: The building isn’t particularly nice, but what matters is the lush glorious forest all around. The bathroom’s room is a sliding panel, so there is no intimacy.

Pros: The service was truly five-star—attentive, professional, and exceptional. However, the hotel itself needs some updating and lacks the vibrant atmosphere expected of a true luxury stay. If top-tier hospitality is your priority, this is a great choice, but the hotel could use a refresh.

Tranquilidad.

Pros: En general el lugar me pareció Super lindo y lo que más me impresionó es la recepción en la forma como te reciben me pareció muy grato y lo hacen sentir muy importante, el hotel muy tranquilo y muy sano.

Cons: Mi único desgusto es que solo se tenga, que pagar en dollares ya que en costa rica se paga en colones esa opción para los nacionales deberían ser una parte que se facilite ya que el nacional también visitas los hoteles.
