Cabin in the jungle
Pros: Doug is a very nice host. The cabin was in the trees, in a beautiful landscape, and I could hear and see frogs, parrots, and other birds.

Jungle villa
Pros: We had a beautiful stay with Doug and Robin. The treevillas are tucked away in the jungle where you will hear and see lots of beautiful birds. We woke up by the sound of the howlers. The pool is very nice as well. The villa is fully equipped which is very convenient if you want to make something yourself. Playa Ventanas is not far. We loved it!

Favorite place in Costa Rica: beautiful and serene
Pros: This place is just PERFECT! A quiet oasis in rainforest! It is our favorite accommodation after 3,5 weeks in Costa Rica. Doug is super friendly, such a great host. A warm welcome. The property is so beautiful. You can see that they have an eye for details. All the trees, flowers, birds… just lovely. Our villa had beautiful views, we even saw a sloth! The villa is well equipped, clean and super comfortable. The complimentary Costa Rica coffee is a nice bonus. It’s the perfect place to explore the region, but also to chill, for example at the beautiful pool. Thank you so much!!

Pros: We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay. After 3 nights in a basic cabin in Osa, this was almost luxury. The cabin was well-equipped, very comfortable, cool (without using the AC), and at canopy level with great views of the surrounding trees. We were on the edge of Ojochal, very quiet, and the garden was really a rainforest experience. The pool was particularly pleasant and attractive, surrounded by garden, and we spent a fair amount of time there (which we normally don't do).
Cons: Arbol Verde Villas is a couple of kms from the main road and centre of Ojochal, but this is more than compensated by its marvellously quiet location.

Pros: The rooms are spotless and there has been great attention to detail- nice toiletries, lots of towels, fresh coffee, free water and a laundry facility which is free to use. The whole offer speaks of generosity and pride in what is being provided. The location is also great. A 5 minute drive along a dirt road puts you well off the beaten track, so when you sit on your balcony the wildlife comes to you - lots of hummingbirds, toucans and howler monkeys. Restaurants are a 5-10 minute drive back down the dirt road, which at first we worried about, but which turned out to be no problem at all and a good selection of top class meals available.

Pros: Este alojamiento fue sin duda el mejor de todo nuestro viaje por Costa Rica.- Si bien no está walking distance de restaurantes o playa, en auto se llega en un rato.- El lugar está atendido por sus dueños, quienes en todo momento estuvieron disponibles y atentos a nuestra llegada y necesidades.- Además el lugar nos resultó ideal para visitar el parque marino Ballena y Manuel Antonio. Alquilando auto, es un lugar precioso para hospedarse.- Las habitaciones son divinas, en el medio de la naturaleza.- Estamos realmente agradecidos con los anfitriones por lo bien que nos lo hicieron pasar.- Queremos volver!!!!!

Loved the peaceful and private atmosphere and proximity to the sea.
Pros: We loved being surrounded by the jungle. The cabins raised on stilts create the atmosphere of being in your own little treehouse. The kitchenette was very tidy with everything you need. Pool is lovely. Anthony is a wonderful host!
Cons: Nothing we didn't like...just make sure you have some clearance on your vehicle to get up there.
