Samara Palm Lodge

Pros: Lovely staff, very attentive and really help you out when in trouble (I got sunburnt a little and the owner cut some aloe vera for me which really helped). The place is also well located, close to the beach but not on the main street so a quieter spot. The pool is also good to refresh when hiding from the sun.

Cons: I missed the iron as our clothes were pretty crumpled from the trips before but otherwise this place was perfect for us.

Would happily stay there again!

Pros: Lovely garden/pool space. Very friendly and helpful owner, good location to walk into town/beach, less busy than in town.

Pros: The stay at Samara Palm Lodge was great. The owners and staff were very friendly, personable and helpful. The rooms were equipped with a nice bed, a/c, hot showers, mini fridge, hangers for clothes. The pool area was nice and gets both sun and shade, pool temp nice to cool off.

Cons: The only thing that I struggled with was only having a sheet for sleeping as I like the weight of a heavier blanket on at least some part of my body. I completely understand the use of sheets only as it is a warm climate. I asked for another sheet and was given one within 10 minutes.

Very relaxing, safe and pleasant place to stay. Its close to everything..you will need.

Immaculate accommodation in fantastic location

Pros: Immaculate accommodation. The little touches go a long way, attention to detail in the accommodation was beautiful. The hosts are welcoming and full of knowledge on places to travel to, they recommended Carrillo Beach and Barrigona Beach, which were both beautiful and we loved, both have shade. They also lent us beach chairs and a cool box. Breakfast was also really good, continental was more than enough, fruit, juice, tea/coffee and bread with toast and jam. You can also choose more options. Definitely recommend.

The staff was incredibly kind and attentive, always ensuring that we had everything we needed. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and well-located spot near the beach. I’ll definitely return!

A lovely place to stay!

Pros: It was the perfect place to start my trip off on the right note! The owners were welcoming, helpful and friendly and have created a very comfortable oasis. The room was small but perfect for one or a couple (Weather was great so i didn't spend much time inside!). Pool was lovely to dip in and cool.down, and created a pleasant spot to have a casual chat with other guests. Breakfast was good, and loved the fresh fruit plate. The location is an easy walk to town and the beach, and I enjoyed that it was across from some treed areas around the little stream...Howler monkeys were a treat to watch from the porch, along with many birds. I would happily recommend!

Cons: There is some street noise, but the rooms are set back a bit from road, and it quiets down nicely at a reasonable hour.

Pros: Lovely property on the edge of town. The owners are super friendly and welcoming. The property is done up very nicely. Very relaxing place to stay in Sámara. Would highly recommend staying here, and we would return here!

Peacefull place

Pros: Samara Palm Lodge in Playa Samara, Costa Rica, is a charming small-scale hotel that offers a delightful stay for its guests.
