Hotel Amjeco

Disappointing

Pros: The receptionist was friendly. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet large. Its location isn't too far from the town but I'm not sure it's close enough to walk to. There's also lots of parking.

Cons: I couldn't understand why we didn't get a receipt when we asked for one. The receptionist acted as she didn't understand what I was saying. We didn't get the two double beds room we booked. The fridge didn't work and when the guy came to take it away water leaked out everywhere onto the floor. I figured when he returned with the replacement fridge he would take care of the water but he didn't. I then tried to clean it up myself but there was no kitchen rag nor paper towels to clean it up with. I had to use paper from my personal use. There were no kitchen towels for wiping the dishes. As for the bathroom. There was no hand towel and only one bath towel for the two of us. There was no garbage bin kitchen. The room is advertised with kitchenette but there was no stove top or toaster nor was there a kettle. There was loud noises coming from the people into the morning 2am, who were there for music and karaoke. To top it off they refused us some ice from their restaurant. Later on, I got a better understanding as to why I didn't get a receipt. Base on my experience with the room. The room given to us probably wasn't documented as an active and functioning room.
