Very comfortable stay in excellent accommodation

Pros: The room was very comfortable, great bed and air con. , fridge and coffee maker, and a great balcony. The breakfast was great and the restaurant area had a very nice view and was very sociable. Anastacia was super welcoming. Highly recommend.

Fabulous views, clean and spacious.

Pros: Amazing views from the apartment. Very comfortable beds. Spacious, great access to the waterfalls, very clean.

Cons: Air conditioning in the main bedroom made a very loud gurgling noise every 20 minutes during the night. Plug in bath didn’t work so showers only. Breakfast was not great, tortillas, refried beans, and an egg on top, maybe Costa Rican but really not to our taste. The driveway was in a terrible state and difficult for four-wheel-drive.

Lovely tranquil hotel with great views of the ocean, a short (if somewhat steep) walk to town.

Pros: Breakfast was excellent; every day something different. I loved the fresh fruit. The muesli was nice but a little burnt. The hanging bridge was fun and great to have a short cut into town.

Cons: The water in the 1st room we were offered only came out extremely hot and could not be adjusted. I had assumed the pool would be larger. It was not big enough to swim in.

Great place in montezuma

Pros: Excellent big room in montezuma. A bit off the centre but in a very scenic location. I loved the hanging bridge and also the patio for the breakfast.

Cons: A bit of a rough road to get there

Beautiful view. Challenging for the less agile.

Pros: The staff was wonderful. They did everything possible to make me (83years old) comfortable. Breakfast was brought to our apartment as I was not able to access the breakfast area. This is a great place if you are young and agile. If not, stay somewhere else. I was also heppy that we were only charged for the one night that we stayed, and that the staff found another place for us.

Cons: Unfortunately, the location is really steep. It is mentioned in the description of the hotel, but is even more difficult than I imagined. Only with a lot of help could I access our apartment, and then I did not leave it until we checked out. Also, a lot of construction was going on in the vicinity of the hotel.

Pros: On the hill with a view. Clean and quiet, and we booked the king bed, which was super comfy! Breakfast with the view is a must!

Amazin and luxurious bein in nature/jungle/close to waterfall too

Pros: The view and the balcony, the bridge, the yummie breakfast, the waterfall, the pool and the spacial room and shower space. Happy n friendly staff. Also adored the coffee maker in the room. Adorable! And appreciate gettin like three towels per person (one mini). Actually possible to walk to Montezuma though the hills are veryveryvery steep

Cons: Nothin, we enjoyed it very much!

Beautiful views and short walk to waterfall

Pros: Great location, close walk to the waterfall. Nice views of jungle and sea.

Changes needed to put this place back to life!

Pros: The place is nice. You can reach the waterfalls, directly from it (~ 10 min). It has a nice hanging bridge and a wonderful view to the sunset and the sea. Quite far to the beach, but has a small and nice pool to refresh. Very nice place where you take breakfast (included in the room price). You can walk down to the city or take a car, as walking might be quite hot and not so pleasant, as you go on the road.

Cons: It is difficult to rate this place. It is a beautiful property, however with the huge and very important disadvantage, which I wanted to point out - the staff, which is making this place so cold and abundant. It is not about that they do not speak english, this can be acceptable, if you see the efforts to communicate and the smile. In this place - very sadly - it was not the case. Moreover, there were two many mistakes made: 1) I had interest in morning yoga and this was confirmed for me. As a result – we staid in the hotel, waiting for the youga and there was no yoga class in the morning (and actually noone in the reception to give some information). 2) They asked about my allergies upon arrival (for the breakfast), and I have pointed out the alergy for eggs. Guess what? Yes, I get the eggs for breakfast. 3) The nice book, written by the owner (which you probably find in every room, with a note that you can buy the book at the reception). And .... we asked 3 different times, 3 different receptionist, no one new the price and no one even tried to do something to get to know it or otherwise solve the issue. So, this is more a message to the owner: please take your close look to the staff and make this place breefing with life again! It is worth it! Now it is a feeling of being abundant, almost dead. And that is so sad!

Delightful stay right in the jungle but very close to all the amenities of Montezuma.

Pros: Lovely views, nice well appointed apartment. We enjoyed a splash in the small pool each evening. Small boutique feel to the property. Lovely yoga space.

Cons: Wifi was very unstable. There was a mistake about numbers for breakfast but it was resolved very professionally and we got a nice meal despite the accidental under catering.
