Charming Hotel/Hostel

Pros: Everything about the Aurora was charming - we loved it.

Cons: We had a very early - 7am- start and the kitchen was locked, unfortunately. My be if we'd asked ahead of time? Shuttle stopped for breakfast, anyway! Loved the Aurora!

Absolutely fine for a good price!

Pros: We really liked the few days in the Aurora Hotel, it is not luxurious, but absolutely perfect if you dont want to spend a fortune. We like it easy and for that the hotel is perfect! The rooms are tidy and the kitchen is fine for cooking and preparing own meals. Especially the location is amazing, you need just 5 minutes to the beach!

Cons: You can hear everything on the corridor when it is noisy. We had two Windows, what was perfect, but both were to the corridor with just curtains and the light was almost always on. So it was very light in the room at night.

Cute family-run, spacious and clean find with a great balcony

Pros: Spacious room with a lovely balcony view over the park next door. The staff were extremely attentive in making our stay as comfortable as possible. Clean and well kept, the air con, in-room fridge and coffee machine were great. The kitchen was (intentionally) basic - fine for compiling breakfast and lunch - but not suffice for making a cooked meal.

Pros: Location, cleanliness ans staff are all excellent. Great value hotel right in the centre. Would recommend staying mid week.

Cons: Not the hotels fault at all - but MZ is home to a lot of western hippies with drink problems. They hang out in the street and park behind the hotel - don't stay at weekends when they are at their loudest, week days we're more quiet. Loved the hotel just a shame about Montezuma.

Pros: The location is excellent. Close to everything. It's great value for money with a coffee machine and fridge in your room. Shared spaces to eat and relax and a communal kitchen to use. Support local families and choose Aurora.

Pros: Great location on the beach, friendly staff. Nice breakfast included. Clean room

Cons: Expensive: room and restaurant - pay for location. Payment only cash :(

The Hotel Aurora is unique and well worth a visit.

Pros: The hotel is perfectly placed. Close enough to all amenities and yet not in ‘the thick of it’. Our room was clean and comfortable with a terrace overlooking a public park. The rooms could do with some updating but it certainly didn’t detract from our stay. There is an on-site kitchen for the use of guests which is a bonus. It was value for money and Montezuma is well worth a visit.

Cons: Can’t think of many negatives, I suppose the public park could pose a problem but we didn’t experience any and it’s out of the hotel’s control.

Remarquable

Pros: My stay in this hotel was awesome. Close to the beach and restaurants it’s the best match in Montezuma. Affordable, with a staff who deserves 5 stars thanks to open mind and professionalism. The only noise could be the outside music, otherwise the fan (room without AC), it just helps to sleep after an exhausting day at the beach. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. 😊

Wish you could of stayed longer, 2 nights was not enough

Pros: Location was what we were hoping for. Very close to the 2 beaches alot of great restaurants and the night life -to be able to walk and enjoy but then be able to get away and sleep in your bed(somewhat quite).

Pros: Nice location. Privat hamock on porch. Nice crowd.
