Loved the lodge

Pros: Loved the lodge itself. Lovely grounds with huge vines. Very much a jungle feel. Cute resident cats. Nice pool. Wonderful hosts. Amazing 5-star food at the restaurant. We got crazy lucky and got to see a turtle release which so cool. Quick walk to the beach.

Cons: The lodge is located in a town that was a bit meh. Roads very crazy pothole-y. Definitely need a 4x4 or you will bottom out getting to the lodge. Town very hot, dry and a bit run down. The beach and waves were so fun and beautiful, but there isn't much else to do and it's far from touristy type things. One friendly request to the owners would be to shave an inch off the bathroom door so it opens properly. Other than that, loved our room.

Great place to simply enjoy life and nature

Pros: Nature surrounding the rooms, plants, trees, animals. Nice balcony in front of the spacious room. Ideal place to slow down, have a rest and enjoy living.

Pros: Relaxed atmosphere, lovely food, comfortable accommodation, great pool and 8 minute walk to lovely beach

Pros: Beautiful lodge in the nature. Both the apartment and the restaurant was great. Highly recommended!

Pros: The accommodation was absolutely perfect and lacked nothing. The beautiful garden and excellent breakfasts made our stay even more enjoyable. Once again, it proved that the owner makes all the difference – and here that was true twice over. We fell in love with the hostess, both us and our children. Her kindness and warmth created a truly special atmosphere. Saying goodbye was hard, and we left hoping to return one day. 💛

Pros: The lodge was very comfortable and the breakfast delicious. The owners were so welcoming, knowledgeable and caring. We enjoyed the beaches, snorkeling, learning about the turtles, and kayaking among the mangroves.

There's nothing I did not like. Just great!

Pros: The place is very tidy, the rooms are far enough from each other and surrounded by nature, and the owners/staff made us feel welcome

Pros: I especially liked the traditional cabins which still have jungle vibe. As I was traveling by bike I felt especially welcome!

Pros: Huge bedroom and bathroom, very well equipped with a large adjoining terrace to rest and read. Even though our room was not air-conditioned we had enough fans to keep it cool. Very cosy pool to refresh and relax. Excellent breakfast. 5 minutes walk to the beach and the turtle center.

Cons: Expensive dinner.

Wonderful place to relax and unwind after busy vacation

Pros: Very helpful and friendly staff, comfortable and very spacious rooms, great swimming pool, short distance from the beach, great breakfast, beautiful surroundings

Cons: Insects on the porch and in the bathroom (large ants, and some tiny bugs near the sink), but I know its part of the wildlife here :)
